Watering trees on the wet side of the cascades is a mind boggling thing. It just doesn't happen! Just watch out for the freezing, the pump housings can't take much freeze with water in them. . Its how i came up with a new engine for the wood splitter, its the pump housing froze, long after the warranty was up. The old Briggs on the splitter was drinking just about as much oil as gas. And the old flat head Briggs, does not have low oil shutoff system. So eventually it died because it needed more then one oil fill, per gas tank full.

no cold weather on the horizon here yet, but I always drain them for the winter so haven't had issues
