I don’t blame you. Looking back, she really is a great character that has a lot of depth, I’d say even more than a lot of more well known characters in general.
You know, Monika isn’t that bad. In the final talk with her, she shows that she actually cares about you, and I mean, just imagine finding out your whole life is a game, with nothing real on it, just the person behind the screen. Considering that, I think she managed to control the situation very well. Everyone else (like Sayori on the default ending), would’ve lost their minds when finding out. So she’s actually a really caring, intelligent and talented character.

Crazy though DDLC actually made someone commit suicide. Forgot most of the story but this 14 or 16 year old boy was going through tough times I'm pretty sure of but he played DDLC... committed suicide.
I found Monika to be a tragic character. Becoming club president makes you self aware and realizing your only a video game character would drive anyone insane. She kept her sanity for the most part and only wanted to spend any bit of time with the protagonist, the only connection she has to the real world. But the game would never give you that chance. So she tried anything to change the game, even sacrificing her friends who she still cared for, but was unaware of the consequences of her actions. In the end she finally gets what she thinks she wants but the player eventually decides to delete her. Heartbroken, but realizing her mistake, she reinstalls the other members to make you happy. But after realizing Sayori also became self aware and realizing she's following the same path she did, which would only lead to the same outcome, she decides to delete the entire game realizing no one is safe from the insanity. And as one last parting gift, she finally gets to play the piano song she was practicing so hard on to impress you, as she, her friends, and their whole world, get deleted in the credits. Then after a parting note, everything is gone forever and you have to reset the entire game...
there's a way to prevent them from getting deleted in the credits. if you play the game down each path up to the point of no return (where sayori confesses) and reset to go down the other paths so that you get all the scenes in the same playthorugh, upon beating the game they all stay in the credits

Monika is *NOT* evil. Wouldn't you go crazy if you were never written an ending and you had to watch the other 3 girls be loved by the protagonist? I would. (be careful game spoilers) Monika and Yuri aren't Yanderes. A *yandere* is someone *crazy* that *kills* for love. Monika is not crazy. *She knew she was in a game* and that's why she could delete the other girls. She only wanted to get a happy ending with the protagonist, and for her the others were only game characters. And she doesn't really delete them because at the end if you delete her, she brings the others back in the game. Yuri is not really a Yandere. She starts being Yandere *when Monika edits her file* , which makes her become crazy. And she never killed anyone.
Yuri is a DANDERE not a Yandere. She is obsessed with knives and is quiet, mysterious, and loves reading. Not all Yandere's kill. They can be very protective and is willing to HARM others for love. And it is also Monika's fault that the others got killed (Sayori hung herself, Yuri stabbed herself, Natsuki's neck breaks) because she deleted them.

M King I mean when I first started singing I was using a webcam microphone. I wouldn’t worry too much about buying “pro gear” as much as I would worry about practicing! I still record on a $70 microphone to this day, I don’t use anything fancy. :)
This is legitimately really good voice-acting. I know that's something you probably hear a lot, but I've pretty much never felt that way before about a fan-voiced anything before. I'm assuming you're not a professional which I might be wrong about but either way, this is completely on point but still has a distinct character to it as well. Great job.

to be fair, it's more like "when your crush CANT like you back". Monika is JUST the "tutorial character", she doesn't have a love-route with the MC... And that's probably what she noticed when she had her "epiphany". Monika and Yuri aren't Yanderes. A *yandere* is someone *crazy* that *kills* for love. Monika is not crazy. *She knew she was in a game* and that's why she could delete the other girls. She only wanted to get a happy ending with the protagonist, and for her the others were only game characters. And she doesn't really delete them because at the end if you delete her, she brings the others back in the game.
Yuri is not really a Yandere. She starts being Yandere *when Monika edits her file* , which makes her become crazy. And she never killed anyone.
Yuri is a DANDERE not a Yandere. She is obsessed with knives and is quiet, mysterious, and loves reading. Not all Yandere's kill. They can be very protective and is willing to HARM others for love. And it is also Monika's fault that the others got killed (Sayori hung herself, Yuri stabbed herself, Natsuki's neck breaks) because she deleted them.
