City on fire on my awaken the blood avatar deck is gonna be awesome. Already made some tests and its so easy to play. With the avatar tokens, Syr Konrad and Purphoros its pure evil.
@@diegoperezsommariva2509 That does sound quite scary. I am going to try it in my Isshin deck which likes to go wide with tokens. With a hellrider and Isshin out each creature I turn sideways is pinging for six.
I’m probably going to put city on fire in my Omnath locus of rage deck. My 5/5 tokens can help cast it and them hitting for 15 is pretty deadly not to mention if they die that’s 9 damage being flung around per token
@@danmorgan7775 thats gonna be strong. I can imagine a future where convoke and vigilance become very relevant in aggro decks. Giving similar results as the free spells like deflecting swat. I love convoke and cards like clever concealment and lethal scheme give me hope.
Thalia and the Gitrog Monster is my #1. Been wanting a hatebear commander, and this card is perfect for colors and helping ramp. (Also that Showcase art is GORGEOUS!)
If you activated the faerie 2 times, I believe you'd end up with 5 cards. 2 for the activations, and 3 more because all of your opponents drew their 2nd card

Played a prerelease 2 days ago and my Pick was absolutely insane. Out of my 35€ 6 boosters prereleasepack + promo + 2 Bonus price boosters i pulled cards worth more than 200€. Within that 7 mythics and couple more rares and even high value uncommons. For example 2 Sheoldreds alternate Art foil, 1 urabrask foil, City on fire, Invasion of shandalar, Archangel Elspeth alternate Art and many more. This was the best Single Pack pull since i play magic.
Wasn’t on the list but Vodalian Wave-Knight is gonna be super fun. I’m planning on putting it in a Tuvasa deck with all of the flash enchantments I can get.
I'm sorry, Transcendent Message is only good if you're in some kind of White/ Green creatures deck. Blue decks are notorious for not having a lot of creatures; you'll have to be focused on generating tokens with Talrand and Murmuring Mystic.
LOL Zada Hedron grinder is gonna be even more fun with Urabrask in the deck - Faerie Mastermind looks great for Council of Four or Kyniaos and Tiros decks :P

Question on battles that I haven't seen an answer for online. What happens when a defending player gets defeated in a game of commander? The battle is your permanent, so it wouldn't leave the game with the opponent. Does it just mean you can attack the battle freely now until it is defeated?
Why is Guardian of Ghirapor a worse flicker wisp or did I miss read or understood anything. I mean relevant creature type, less mana intensive and more stats. Or am is just stupid?😅
Urabrask is not another Birgi, she is way more op since its any spell, makes her cedh as it can win turn 1-3 veeery easily, I dont see Urabrask ever getting there.
With all the convoke cards, I’m surprised that City on Fire didn’t make the list. It’s a strictly better Fiery Emancipation. It’s a pinger/aristocrats/token player’s dream. Any red deck that cares for convoke is gonna want it.
still wondering why any spellslinger deck would run chandra with it being 6 mana and only one copy when theres like 3-4 enchantments that are around 5-7 cmc that do that but more than once per turn

Only if each opponent already drew a card. The fact that it specifies "second card" means it's really only going to work on the person whose turn it is
It says second card not first card. It can only trigger once per person, per turn and only on their second card so you may not get any value from it, but that would also mean your opponents probably aren't drawing extra cards either.
What do you think of the Hoarder and its ability to apply convoke to foretell? Or free up additive costs like kicker on a cascaded spell? Or am I being way too much of a Melvin about it?
The fact that cards like City on Fire and Sunfall didn't even make honourable mention tells you this set is pretty darn strong.

Its also a hatebear thats pretty balanced and not overwhelming to play against
I'll build them landfall matters and just OG Thalia to keep up with hatebears. But that's it.
The card is amazing but 3 colors will keep it from making big splash! I built it as a commander and love it

Restoration Angel is a very great card in my Angel decks.
I get 3=\=4 mana, but flash lends so much to the card. And an extra toughness helps a lot.

It's less Skyshroud Claim and more Explosive Vegetation. Skyshroud can fetch non-basic forests, which is significsntly stronger
The fact that you can copy creature spells on the stack with see double is pretty interesting
You can also counter an opponents counter spell with it, and make a clone on the same card. Lmao i Love this card

It's only slightly worse with not being able to hit all permanent types. Not extremely relevant to how good the card is, but still a valid statement
Flickerwisp can hit any permanent, and hits opposing things like tokens !

I'm not saying Faerie Mastermind is a bad card, but I'm a little confused why you rated it so high when you had very meh reaction to smugglers share.
It has flash, is a mana cheaper, is in blue so you can trigger it yourself, plus the gravy text lets you trigger it on its own.
