  • Finally adding a low-voltage electrical system to my mini-A-frame cabin. Some lights, a USB and 12v outlet, with a 50 Watt solar panel and 10 Amp charge controller to keep the whole thing ticking. The whole system (including the battery) was designed to fit neatly inside the cavity of a standard 2x4 wall of the tiny cabin.
The specific battery is this one: amzn.to/40MxrZs - which is the largest capacity LiFPO battery I've found that will fit inside a 2x4 wall cavity, it's just 3" thick. If that one's out of stock, I also found this one: amzn.to/41IWEVM
IN THIS VIDEO: I'm using a super simple and really low cost 10 Amp "Wanderer" charge controller from Renogy, which I highly recommend for tiny low-voltage systems like this one. Here's a link that will give me a little kick back if you do end up going with Renogy: renogy.sjv.io/a132KY Thank you!
This video was not sponsored by Renogy, I have just been extremely happy with all the Renogy panels and charge controllers I've been using all over the property. From the 30Amp Wanderer unit in my camper, to this little 10Amp Wanderer unit used in both my micro-A-frame, and the off-grid shower house.
If you are in the market for some panels, or a controller, or a combo kit, I would definitely check them out: renogy.sjv.io/a132KY
