Tycho's enthusiasm is always contagious. You guys have me really excited to try this game out. I just bought my first box of city states hoplites. I hope to see you guys use the city states at some point.
Love seeing conquest content any time. One quick rules note from one wadrhum player to the other. All TIER 3 chants are locked behind the Fanatic special rule, the chant pool can never actually go over 3 tokens. When you would place a 4th token you instead replace a token in the pool with the new one. Again, good stuff guys.
I'm so happy you guys showed me this game, its great! Plus you two are always a joy to watch and have great banter. I really need to get some orcs riding dinosaurs soon.
I received my new city states vs Nord two player set yesterday! Can finally get in on the action. Although, my poor wallet does not yet know the toll this new venture is going to take on it.
Hey Nick, if you love dinos, check out the latest adventure stream from Glass Cannon, Blood of the Wild. It's their licensed playthrough of Quest for the Frozen Flame, which takes place in the frozen northern Realm of the Mammoth Lords. Megafauna aplenty!
Just wanted to stop buy and comment on the latest conquest video to thank you for introducing me to this game, Im picking up city states with the new two player starter!. Can't wait to see more content!
Love to see more Conquest, and those models are absolutely gorgeous! A few notes though from a Vanguard: You have to say which models you are bringing in after rolling, seems here you were keeping them hidden. The deck order is hidden, but whats in it is not. Objective Markers are full stands, not just the circle bases. Nor can you move through neutral or enemy objective Markers Raptor Riders are also 5 wounds per stand, not 4, so the Raptor should have survived Round 2 You can only fight on death if the character and regiment have no activated yet You need 2 sucesses to cast a spell now, not just 1 Blooded have 5 wounds What edition were you playing? It seems like you were using old rules/stats, but combined with the auto reinforcement roll from 2.0?
Yea I was noticing that too. Probably 1.5.1 with rumors of the big change that came with 2.0 and reinforcements in mind but not the hard data sheets for the characters. Specifically in my mind the Warbred having burnout built in.
@@chimeraelite Feels weird to included 'rumoured' changes. Not to mention that doesnt change the errors with the objective markers :P (Even though Objective Markers are incredibly clunky as they are now)
That’s pretty much exactly what we playing :D. We recorded it with the old rules before they were public. But knew about the new reinforcement rules and used those as we really liked them.
@@PlayOnTabletop Ah that makes so much sense :P My brain was very confused. The scenario points still stand (Im looking forward to them changing how Objective markers work in the new scenario pack coming sometime)
I really like your videos, I saw your wargame for the first time and I've been watching your videos ever since. It is my big dream to be able to play, although it is difficult here in Hungary. I'll be honest, I look at the contents with a bit of envy, because unfortunately I can't buy my own wargame, but I'm glad that you have so much content.
Question: They mentioned that solidly triple moved Raptor Riders leave you scrambling to reposition. With that said, which armies are best suited to win such a scramble?
Great game, prefer First Blood I think the smaller scale is feels more visible instead of just blocks losing models. I bought my Buddy some Steel Legion so he could proxy them as GreatSwords in AoS. They're a bit big but I would not pay GW 20$ more for something from the 90's.
Just a quick note but at some point you're slingers shot through the Raptor riders... But just wondering how many points your amies were and it would be cool if you shared the links of your armies. Want to see more first blood games
What version are you guys playing ? I've only played half a dozen games of version 2.0 It looks like the slingers shoot without line of sight at 12:52 ?
Very happy to see another Conquest game. I would like to have a narrator explain the rules happening during the game. Also, is it me, or is the play area seem small?
We aim to do a Conquest video once per month. The time may seem longer if we release one earlier in the month and the next one later in the month but we are committed to Conquest once per month.
Just found out about this game and I really like your battle reports. I have been hesitant in choosing the right army for me. For the moment I am thinking between Nords and W'adrhun but I am afraid the W'adrhun might be too hard to master for a new player, would I be right?
I don't really know anything about Conquest other than what Play On has played, so I gotta ask- What is the 100 Kingdoms even good at? Every single game Play On has done they've gotten their asses kicked, they don't seem to have any real visible strengths from a casual point of view, and all the other factions seem to have these really cool game alerting gimmicks. To be fair, it is very immersive because it feels like this is what would happen if medieval knights took on dinosaur riding orcs.
I would say they are the most flexible army, being able to play in many different ways depending on the scenario. They have good cheap infantry, great elite infantry and probably the best knights in the game. On top of that they have good magic too, for some long range firepower together with some ok massed ranked crossbowmen.
trying to get into conquest as it is easier than 40k ; Does conquest have like CP and 100 stratagems ? And things like 100 different kinds of “ libarian disciplines” (from what I can see from battle reports ; no it doesn’t) And like does each faction have their own main faction power and sub faction powers ? (From what I can see from battle reports is also no )
Each faction has its own set of special rules in addition to over all rules. There are no CP or strategems. The closest is each Warlord has a "supremacy ability" some always active, others once per game on declaration.
Conquest is pretty straightforward in terms of extra rules.(rules outside of the core rules) Each faction will have one or two special abilities specific to them, those are explained in their army lists. As for CP/Stratagem equivalents there isn't any. No pool of resources, no granting extra abilities for an action or anything. The closest you get is some characters can be given upgrades that will be given once per game abilities, but generally you'll only have one, maybe two in an army. Any special rules that a unit has, will be noted under their stat block and if you're using the army builder online, it will let you view what that ability does. Otherwise, if you printout/save the army as a pdf all the special rules present in your army will be included after all units.
As someone who stopped playing 40k after 9th edition came out, I can say that the faction rules for conquest are more comparable to 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 8th edition 40k. The only complicated system in the game is the movement system, which you may find overbearing. Their rules are online for free if you want to know the specifics. One other thing to note about conquest is that they don't scrap what they have and completely start over from edition to edition. And because the rules are online for free, balance changes and updates are integrated more seamlessly.
You guys managed to get me and a friend of mine to start our own armies of Conquest, and they're exactly 100 kingdoms and Wa'drun! Love from Italy!
How would you get into it? Any advice for someone wanting to start?
Always Love More Conquest! Interested to see y'all play the City States (and when they come out, the Sorcerer Kingdoms)!

Nick: I'm just going to kill the crossbow men.
Me: Charge the knights. 9:30 Charge the knights. 9:45 CHARGE THE KNIGHTS!
Nick: "I choose my raptor rider against your Men at Arms!"

Finally more conquest!
Love this game! Absolutely my favorite content from you guys! Good job Tycho. Don’t let bad dice rolling get your game down. Did great!

YEAH MORE CONQUEST CONTENT! Really satisfying knight charges this game lol
Poor Tycho, those dices were not on his side this time. Still, glad to see more of this game and the nice atmosphere you two give us :)
Those were the most brutaly unresponsive dice I've seen in quite some time.
A great game! Also shows how Nick has really learned the Wah'drun even more since his first few games. Good game to you both!
Love your conquest game videos. Thanks for doing them and keep them coming.
Great batrep guys!
Just getting into this game, would love to see more conquest on the channel.
YESSS MOAR CONQUEST!!! Love watching this game.
Tycho and Nick together is pure magic. Great match as always.
Love your Conquest content! Thank you
I'm so happy you're doing more conquest!
Well done Nick that looked super slick. Tycho, you're a champ for sticking it out and what a come back!!
I love watching this game being played.
Plus Orcs in Dino’s just seems so thematic
Watching you guys play Conquest is so much fun! I hope you guys will do more Episodes on this game! :D
The City-States just came out. Would love to see you guys play them!

100k really needs some love. They are so far behind the abilities of the other armies in the game currently.

OMG, loving that storyline. They are knocking that out of the park for sure. Can't wait for Gatewalkers. #NaishForLife
It's interesting seeing 1.5 again haha. Looking forward to seeing y'all get a grasp on the new edition. 😀
I admire Tychos patience and sportsmanship.

MORE CONQUEST
😂😂😂
With how important rolling 1s can be in this game, it would be the perfect game for Steve!
Lets go Tycho of the Five Thunders!!
This game looks like so much fun
I will never get over orcs riding freaking dinosaurs
Conquest for the win!! Great battle report
This game is so fascinating. Just bought Spire. Thanks!
Yes more conquest! I can’t wait to see a Dominion and City states match.
Before a game of Conquest:
Nick: Steve, can you hold these dice for me for a second? Thanks...
I thought Nick was going to whip out the "Yes, your dice rolling has been bad..."
nice. another one
Love these videos
Keep them coming
I thank you guys for getting me into conquest.
Really hope they play with the city states when they release
oh they're out. Most people have their armies rn. Just gotta grind out those models
Loved it. Great to see a game I can follow even though I've never played. 40k has become just impenetrable even though I played in for years.

The conquest orcs are my favorite war game orcs!
I think it’s time to dip the toes into Ea . Started with the dweg . Love from Ireland enjoying the content
An absolute bloodbath! AMAZING GAME BOYS!
The visual image of somebody punching a horse with a column that is strapped on their arm is phenomenal.
As a W'adrhûn player I love the amount of W'adrhûn gameplay! My absolute favorite faction, City States is a close second.
Can't wait to see you guys do some city states

Listening to Nick narrating the T-Rex's desire to eat Tycho's guys in x2 speed is even more funny than at normal speed.
Tycho “that was tough.” Yes said the raptors eating their human meals.
Geez the crescendo/rider combo is glorious to watch.
Love to see more conquest! If you're exploring more tabletop games, I would recommend Dystopian Wars for some epic naval combat!
Man, if this was 40k Tycho would be doing so well XD
More conquest ! It’s awesome !

If Steve ever played this game, his rolls would be broken. 🤣
Tycho RAWKZ !!!
nick is really starting to get his money's worth out of those raptor riders
lovely beautiful armies. As a aos player I have no idea what's going on in this video, but it looks fantastic
Slingers, size 1, could not fire through raptor riders, size 2, unless the target regiment was size 3 or larger, which infantry aren't.
Just a quick note but at some point you're slingers shot through the Raptor riders...
But just wondering how many points your amies were and it would be cool if you shared the links of your armies.
Want to see more first blood games
As per page 20, you tell your opponent which regiments are arriving.
They basically declared going first was key between knights versus T-Rex but when Nick had priority, he had not selected the T-Rex… Why ???
To make it interesting, otherwise it would have been a stomp and less entertaining
The video quality is insane. Best I've ever seen on youtube, I think? What camera are you guys using?
What version are you guys playing ? I've only played half a dozen games of version 2.0 It looks like the slingers shoot without line of sight at 12:52 ?
A mercenary militia, bait..or as inlike to call them meat shield
😅😅😅
damn this looks awesome

The unit of bloodeds should be shattered! The household Guard killed them instantly!
Love your battles just wish you did more conquest games
Got a new one coming hopefully this week!
Depending on when this was filmed it was either revenge for getting everyone sick or getting everyone sick for revenge
This must have been before the update, making Raptor Riders 5 wounds instead of 4.

does anyone know if PlayonTabletop does Battletech? I would love to see them run it and I think they would have a blast.
each card should get special button to activate that chant sound for real lol
more conqest, great. but this was painful. oh so painful. Ouch.
The Warbred really toasted those knights...

Why not go with the apex Predator first versus the Raptor Riders? Was it for points/victory?
Yeah, that didn't make any sense. The only thing I can think of is he was just trying to keep it interesting.
while I may not be interested in fantasy, I do like to support anything other than the 40k and AOS I see literally everywhere else
Troops that explode… so Nick.
More W’adrhun please! Love it! Love the energy and passion. Hopefully some v2 soon?
