Defintiely don’t see enough disruption web in other games. Especially when players will have 10 corsairs already. It’s only, what? 500 minerals and 400 gas or something to get a fleet beacon and web upgrade? Seems worth it to me considering how good it is and if you already have sairs
@@HappyChillmore I guess one of the reasons we don't see many disruption web games is because Dweb consumes more APM. But compared to stasis, the advantage of Dweb is that enemy units under Dweb still take damage. Really like to see a game that Dweb is used against Terrain mech army.

I watched all replays just once. This is this the only replay that I watched three times still so good with this player control of Protoss units. Disruption Web, Reaver drops, kill bases, mission accomplished, pull back, next target.
The domination of corsairs was just insane, getting constantly supply blocked really made this game easy, like he did not even need to make other units..this map is really made for protoss mains..grrat game falcon!
Think it's time to declare the new strat. Bisu introduced corsair/DT play, saviour introduces corsair/reaver with disruption web, and it's tons of fun to watch
The fact that there were no high templar out in the field in this match tells you how easily the zerg player could have pulled that game around had he invested in defilers
Now I feel like I finally understand why Protoss is considered so OP, between their zerg matchup, and banshee, carrier, dark archons against terran it seems nuts. I get that skill can make any race feel OP, but protoss feel the most naturally unbalanced.
So... burrowed hydra traps is pretty much the way to go vs corsair reaver. Later on you can also get some devourers in combination with hydras and scourges to try to take down the sairs. Ensnare can work too. Once protoss gets critical mass of sairs it's going to be next to impossible to get any connections with scourge just because they die so fast on approach and sairs have splash so scourge just dies in mass. This is old school stuff. Sair + reav used to be the bread and butter in PvZ. I guess the modern maps don't really support this style that well and zergs got better at dealing with it by setting up burrowed hydra traps and sniping the shuttle as it flies in.

Falcon I’ve watched at least 200 of your casts and one thing I’ve come to conclude is that Zerg just sucks. They never win it seems like… and I was a Zerg player most of my life
I'm by no means a pro at this game. But the zerg was asking to be finished off by a slow drip feeding speed-zealot swell to deliver the coup de grace by the 25th minute. Protoss probably could have afforded it too. 2 groups of speedlots would have been undefendable in the midst of one of those big drops. They wouldn't even need micro. Just A-move on the minimap while micromanaging a drop. Great example of harrassment play though. It utterly halted zerg progression and wore him down.

Kill ratio is 5:1, which is probably the highest PvZ killing ratio I've seen in these recasts.

At 23:46 in the cast right as he surrenders an egg with zerglings hatches but one is blue and the other is purple… super odd. Anyone know why?
This is because the second zergling hatched after he left. And any units that do are automatically set to a neutral blue color.
