Hey I got got the same evilnat hfw running 4.91 and NOR but I get a error message saying your ps3 is not cfw compatible is there any other way I could try I really prefer CFW than HEN.
Depends on your ps3 model. All phat models are cfw compatible. And slims up to the 2500 series are cfw compatible but with 2500 models specifically only if manufacturers in 2010 or else also not cfw compatible. All slims after that and super slims are hen only.
You can directly install Evilnat 4.91 over Evilnat 4.89 without needing to install previous updates first. Just follow the installation process and your system should be updated to 4.91 without any issues.
- Make sure you installed HFW twice. - Make sure your usb is formatted correctly. - Make sure your usb is plugged into the furthest right port. - Make sure you choose the correct Flash Writer whether it be NOR or NAND. Slims only use NOR & Fats can use NOR or NAND. - Make sure hidden files are visible on windows, it is not enabled by default. - Super Slims cant be jailbroken. There should be no other reasons it wouldn't work. After you preform the dump on the console with your usb plugged into the furthest right port (dev_usb000) it transfers the dump.bin into the usb from which you drag out the dump.bin folder into the "drag&drop_your_dump_here" folder.
