The problem is , Slankans need to open up & see this industry in a new perspective ! The world is a market place for these talented people !! There is a huge demand worldwide for quality drums... So these skilled SLankans need to focus on making different drums ( jimbe, congo, bongo) that foreigners like ... & market it that way !! DON'T Let this industry die !! Find creative ways to keep it alive ! These good people need the exposure , marketing avenues, sales... NOT just a history lesson ! History & traditions are good... but that's NOT going to pay their bills, & not going to sustain their family's life & future !
