The Prodigy are about as metal as electronic music gets (outside of Curve and Nine Inch Nails), and Light Up The Sky is every bit as ferocious as the likes of The Day Is My Enemy, and Breathe. Fucking brutal!
I remember growing up to the classics of prodigy. I am into alot of Genres, Prog rock and metal being at the forefront but I always have time for prodigy, they have something unique. They are in a genre of their own. Thanks for this Ruben! This has made my day.
I'm also a metal and rock fan, but prodigy has a special place in my heart. And I've never seen a Liveshow that's as energetic and powerfull than theres

Ha! Prodigy! Excellent. Suitably noisy. I saw them once, just after `Fat of the Land' came out and they were absolutely amazing. Supported by 'Enter Shikari' and 'Pendulum'.
My 2nd best live show was The Prodigy. Saw them 4 times but can only, really, remember one;) 1st being Pink Floyd. 3rd was Aphex Twin & then Kraftwerk. Then again, maybe 2nd to 4th are equal 2nd. Oh, & better chuck in Roger Waters, too.
Yeah. That's a banger. Check out a british band called pitchshifter if you haven't. They mix metal with drum & bass/industrial. Their album www.pitchshifter.com is a classic from back in the day.
Best part of the track is at 3:38 where the vocals combine with the bass and the other elements of the track. I wish there was more of this as the track went on..
Simple music? Of course not. Death metal, thrash metal, doom metal, bla-bla-bla metal, always-the-same guitars plus always-the-same drums, that's simple music, not The Prodigy. Can't say I'm delighted about this track either, though. Too pop.
