I am 77 and in 2016 I was working at a large theatre in Oklahoma City with a lot of new voters. I would tell them that Trump is 2 months older and since I started reading stuff about him and hearing him take back in the 1970s he has never exhibited one redeeming or social acceptable characteristic. I was a religious ed major at a Baptist College and Trump literally went from being a negative sermon topic to a positive one in 2015. The kids would say he is a good businessman and I would say, "Well, he just isn't an honest or good businessman and on top of that the government isn't a business. It is not there to make a profit, it is there to take care of the needs of the country.
The “devils army” is proud of you Adam Kinzinger. Proud that you showed great character and courage in standing up for what is the truth. Thank you.

J6 hearings changed the needle for a LOT of people. It gave many of us hope that justice would prevail. Media needs to GET it.
I really appreciated all that Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney did in standing up for our country. Other than that I didn’t know much about him. This interview was great, let him do most of the talking, and I heard a lot of good ideas from him that made me want him to get back into politics. I especially like that he is willing to change and grow. We need to let politicians do this, not to harp on what they use to believe in, but what they now know to be the right thing to do.

Adam, you and Liz gave us so much hope-that two Republicans held to a moral compass.
And they both came at it from different perspectives, experience, and generations. They used different words which could illuminate different aspects and speak to different people. Both were clear-eyed about Trump and the insurrection, and we really needed (and still need) that. They are two people I always listen to when they speak.

It's much more basic than that - he has a conscience. People with conscience are very difficult to steer in the wrong direction.
On the other hand, when people have no conscience, all that the proverbial Devil has to do is call itself Christian or even Christ, and they will follow, without hesitation.

I loved the part during the interview when Mary told Adam how much Trump hates it when anyone refers to him only as *Donald* 23:09 So when Adam responded with, "Oh really? I'll remember that!" Adam was true to his word! Adam would only use the name *Donald* for the rest of the interview! (Grin)

Media, and social media specifically, depend on those wedges for profits. Well said, Adam. Your Oath was to the Constitution. And it is great to hear you say you are for voting rights now. I was disenfranchised in FL in 2000 as a registered Democrat voting absentee because I was active duty military. I could not convince the registrar Dee Brown's office it was a mistake and another person with my name was the 'convicted felon' they claimed was the reason I was removed from the voting roles. It happens. It happened to me.

I started out a Republican, but am now a Democrat. I didn't care for Liz until she was on the committee doing the right thing. Discovered Adam and would vote for him as well. Enjoyed reading Mary's book - what a shame she had to put up with Donald. This was a great podcast. I can't wait for another.
My support and admiration to Adam Kinzinger for the unwarranted hostility he's endured from some family and even a colleague in war. How twisted have their sensibilities become from the poison spewed by 45. It goes to show that some are more susceptible to the seductions of malignant narcissists. I was married to one for 24 years. The good part is that he effectively trained me from ever falling for that bs again. And I grew up in a working class democratic family.
Adam Kinsinger’s book is excellent. I just started it (audio version) and it’s like listening to a good buddy who’s sharing his experience of some of the most historic events of our time. I admired AK for taking a stand for democracy, and what a delight to find he’s also an excellent narrator (wonderful voice) with a super compelling story to tell.

Mr. Kinzinger, your representation of our country both in Congress and the military would have me daily telling my children that you are a model of patriotism. However, their ages being 40, 39, 37, and 34 I had use other examples. Thank you for all you give to the U.S.

I am so glad Adam Kinzinger provided clarification on the "money" the USA is sending to Ukraine. This is military equipment and munitions that was going to be destroyed, due to the age factor of the ammunition. I have heard this fact before and just wanted to voice my thanks to Adam for the clarification.
