    Sir, I wanna ask u a question. My question is we know that STAAD doesn't have command for material nonlinearity. So, what should i do to consider material nonliniearity in STAAD if i want to perform second-order analysis like P-DELTA? Thank you.

      It is not possible to directly consider material non-linearity in analysis or design in STAAD. But you can use Direct Analysis method if you are using AISC 360 code for steel member design. Under direct analysis method, stiffness reduction due to the material non-linearity is already considered and it will be used for design.

      This is an unpublished macro, and some minor enhancements are required (I want to include more user control, auto generation and assignment of CB parameter in STAAD model). if there is enough request for this code, then I will publish this.
