This is by far the best podcast that I've ever seen and heard from Pakistan. Every second was engaging. The guest understands the core issues of Pakistan and addressed them with tangible solutions. Brilliant questions asked. Overall gave a boost of positivity in these testing times in Pakistan. May Allah protect our country.

Very grasping and thought provoking discussion. Some brilliant ideas for revenue increase & job generation were touched upon. Pakistan will Insha Allah rise but I feel one of the biggest road blocks today is the lethargic, laid back & pessimism filled mindset of many at the helm of affairs in our country today. It would not be a bad idea if we send home ALL government servants above grade 19 and make them OSD for the rest of their careers (age 60) and allow them to do private jobs if they want to. This will cleanse our governance system and purge it of negativity, corruption & nepotism as well

Being an overseas Pakistani myself I totally agree with them. The amount of exposure and experience I got, couldn't have imagined it living in Pakistan. And now I want to give it back to my society and I am doing so in some capacity. So yeah we overseas Pakistanis do want to come back and to contribute. I also agree with the fact that that time is near when we will be able to do so.

@4:28 - In the age of AI - we need to learn basics.
    Teaching Basics:
    - [Foundation Building]: Basics form the foundation of any subject. Teaching fundamentals lays the groundwork for more advanced concepts.
    - [Universal Understanding]: Basics provide universal knowledge that is essential for everyone. They ensure a shared understanding within a community or field.
    - [Sequential Learning]: Basics often follow a sequential learning path, with each concept building upon the previous one. This structured approach facilitates a smooth progression.

*Good Topic : indian guy example of india story of 1991* holds for India, but do not hold for Pakistan, why *Differences* : india had difficult time Economically Only, But for Pakistan apart from *Economy, political, & social structures & institutions are crumbling,* India latched on to IT boom despite government because higher Education Sector was always good, Pakistan now can't latch on AI boom because it is more advanced IT sector & *Pakistan Education reforms are struggling* to update even IT first generation Material, India never had shortage on Educated Skilled Pool, in Pakistan economist have started talking *not just about brain drain(8 lac/yr) but shortage of skilled educated Engineer/technician/workers* in the coming years, thus compromising with Low-skilled people, on top of that *2.5 crore out of school kids will become young very soon demanding jobs with religious fervor, mixed with Ethnic/religious/political tension,* this has potential to change the discourse of the country towards despondancy & low standards instead of growth. *Aur fir Apke Politician ne bhi koi kasar chorhi nahi hay. Odds are High Against, hopes are struggling, Goodluck though*

    47:22 talk about India.
    Pakistan seems to focus on
    1. Hindu baniya
    2. Hindu Kaffir
    3. Ghazwa-e-hind
    4. Kashmir banega Pakistan
    5. Lal qile par jhanda
    6. Pakistan Waahid nuclear power of the world
Just look at how Pakistan has treated its Hindus, Christian, Shia, Baloch, Bengali, Ahmaddiya, Sikhs, etc. And now Afghans.
With all this where is the time to focus on education, science, entrepreneurship?

Our bureaucracy is incompetent and corrupt:
The system does not support any business. There is no business without an FIR. While so narrow organizations do that people leave work or do not increase work. Government elites have not reformed in any sector whereas India has reformed many times in every sector. Our bureaucracy is incompetent and corrupt, it makes policy to waste its time.
We have no education, knowledge, training, research.

Baat to yeh hai ke, agar ap kisi action ko nahi darrkk kar sakte, to ap uske reaction bhi nahi samajh sakte. So, youth ko direction wo log nahi de sakte jinho ne unke liye ye halat paida kiye. The solution (in terms of direction, training, intelligence) has to come from out of the box, and by this I do not by any means mean any gora. I think overseas Pakistanis have to take the lead in todays hybrid world to create the direction where Pakistan needs to be in the future based out of their "overseas" best practices experience, no matter where they are.

People who complain that Muzammail talks to much as the host. Here is the thing.
The whole idea of a 'Podcast' is having a conversation, NOT an interview. The host can discuss, debate, exchange ideas with an expert but its not a simple question and answer. Some people like Nadir Ali do masala interviews and call it a 'Podcast'. What Nadir Ali does in its essence is NOT a Podcast.

then what you want ? some fake fantasy land ? It is the truth and they have presented the solutions we have to take if we want to catch up with the rest of the world. We have to change our trajectory, the way we run things. Our entire existence is at stake (we may become irrelevant if we don't change ).
