I think that you’ve fallen in love with Måneskin, and especially with Damiano...as we all did...that man has something particular about him that attracts both men and women...I don’t care if he’s gay or straight, if he wears heavy make-up or not, or his gender fluid outfits...I like his gracious and gentle manners, how quick witted he is, how he writes in Italian and how sweet he is to their fans (they all are).

This is a good fun song, and an even better video. However, they have a lot of even better, and especially deeper songs. My favorite English rocker is “For You Love” a classic rock anthem. Their Italian rockers like Zitti e Buoni, and In Nome Del Padre. But the ballads, all in Italian are the most beautiful and poetic Torna A Casa, Vent ‘Anni, and the MASTERPIECE “Coraline”. The latter is amazing even without the translation, and I recommend a first listen without, and then a second with the translation.
Totally agree on the Freddie Mercury and Queen comparison, in fact this is the most obsessed I’ve been about a rock band since discovering Queen in my younger years.

One of my favourite songs of theirs is Vent'anni. They did a live performance on Italian X Factor and I think it's definitely worth checking out if you ever want to do that song.

If you want to do more Måneskin, I’d have two suggestions: if you want a classic powerful rock piece, a tightly-knit orchestrated song in which all four find a way to shine both individually and as a band, go for For Your Love. If you want to give a try to an Italian song by them, not least because their Italian songs usually have deep and poetic lyrics, go for Coraline, a wonderfully written original and still powerful ballad.

IMO their best live performances are the ones for Radio Italia and for 1Live. Please watch those if you get the chance! Specifically "La paura del buio" in Radio Italia and "For Your Love" in 1Live.

Lovely reaction! Europe is so proud of this band! I thought that you might want a tip on how the bands name is pronounciated. Think of the Å as the O in the english word "more" and not like an A. So it's like you were to say "more" but stopped half way and continued to say "-neskiin" with a longer i than n in "skin".

PS: Speaking of opening for the Stones, I watched their entire set and let me tell you what they ROCKED that packed football stadium. And when they were finished and before the stones came on they were all freshened up and in their spiffy clothes and they went down into the pit right in front of the stage and we're hanging out with all the other fans and then about maybe half a decent songs in Mick gave a shout out to them and then we found out later that Jagger himself hand- picked this band to open for him and I'm just like WOW and I bet they were too.
Being a classically trained musician myself I suspect that that young Thomas on guitar was classically trained on guitar because when I first heard one of their songs one of their big rock ballads the first thing that hit my mind was the old Beatles song "hile My Guitar gently weeps," and his melodies and expression then brought stains to my cheeks too. I'm totally, totally in love with Maneskin!
