Milk cows can jump a gate now they can be crazy sometimes not as much as Angus have been crazy seen them walk through a barb wire fence didn't believe until I saw first hand bull walk through and heifers followed.

carl byrne in my opinion sell the jerseys as there small and are hard to fatten go bye yourself one limousine calf and then you will se progress
If heifers they should be OK.. But bull calves don't waste your time or money on them get a couple of hereford or limousine cross calves no point in jerseys to hard to put wight on

That was almost a clean jump What do you do with the calf’s of the Heifers that were with the Angus Bull? Do you raise them and send them to slaughter or milk them or just sell them when they’re young?

Put down straw or something in your trailer and the cows will go in easier as it’s not shiny...had a bit of a issue a few years back with that
