@@Disgruntledbellyzonly 2 couples have a child. It’s worked out for around 8 couples out of about 40/50 🤣 Plus, the people who stayed together found each other attractive. Not a single couple who didn’t have stayed together. So love isn’t blind.
exactly love is blind only works if they’re attracted to each other so it’s actually not blind😂 I guess it does open people up to meeting people they wouldn’t normally go for and potentially finding love but they still need that attraction

That's very typical, actually. People who are afraid of rejection will try to be the ones who reject you first. They self-sabotage because they're scared to be vulnerable and then get hurt. She needs therapy, not reality TV.
@@laurencampbell3320hate to say it but it’s not surprising as she was adopted. Her adoptive parents seemed so lovely, warm and caring, but I’m sure that original rejection from her birth parents will have had a huge effect on her no matter what and it’s not surprising she has issues with rejection

For me I think it’s fine reading your vows from paper if it’s super heartfelt. I used to hate the idea being married in front of a crowd, so I imagine having that paper would help ground people
lmao i was surprised to hear that people think it's weird. at every wedding i've been to where the couple wrote their own vows they read them from a note or at least glanced at it to stay on track. people are nervous and the emotions are running high, seems crazy to expect them to remember all that. we don't expect them to memorize the traditional vows, the officiant rattles it off sentence by sentence and they repeat it after
Me and my husband needed to learn two lines for a Catholic church wedding and we were still too emotional to get them right, so I can imagine how stressful it is to remember a whole sheet of paper!
it is because it has less emotion, than saying it, while having eye contact. it doesnt need to be perfect, just say what you feel and want. youre saying it to your partner, not to put a performance for others.

As someone with social anxiety, I think having vows written down would help calm my nerves and make sure I say everything I mean/want to. It can also keep people from rambling. Obviously you can go “off script” it’s just helpful

Considering Freddie's brother situation I think it's the best thing to leave everything to his sister so that she can take care of him. I have a sister who's handicap and would probably do the same.
This is what me and my husband were saying too. He's in line to care for his brother and if something happens to him that's his priority over a woman he met weeks before. It shows he is responsible. It's a green flag. He's willing to be spontaneous but not let that effect his family who didn't sign up for this. Made me like him more honestly. A prenup can always be amended later if circumstances change.
Same. People were saying he's being a dick by bringing up the prenuptial and listening to his sister. The majority of us don't know what it's like to take care of a disabled sibling or sick, elderly parents who might have only you to rely on. Freddie is a good lad who put his family first, and he was honest about it as well. Seems to me lots of people just viewed freddie as a 1 dimensional eye candy.
Then he needs to get married to his sister then or not get married at all. Imagine leaving NONE of your assets to your Wife lol the woman who actually is living life with you, stay beside you through thick and thin, give birth to your children etc. 😅 Madness
@@stephyworld8713 no one is saying that tho. &Cat didn't stand by his side yet or have his babies yet, he knew her for some weeks. He never said he wouldn't amend it later, change his will (which would supersede the prenup.) after their relationship was more established. To marry someone you don't know on a reality TV show that you fell in love with behind a wall and then they get all your assets leaving your family who was depending on you high and dry would be wildly irresponsible. He was saying if he died suddenly and unexpectedly soon. I'm sure if they stuck by each other and had children he would have it changed.

Also who would take such a gamble in accepting this rubbish prenup, hoping that he might change his mind later lol? You don't know him at all to assume he would do that and the fact that he even propose such a raw deal to his future wife is actually a big red flag 🚩.
Freddie knows that his family has to take care of his brother and the state doesn't help with enough financial aid. It's not only about not being sure about Cat, it's about knowing that his sister will be able to provide for his brother if anything would happen to him.

I personally don’t think it’s that wild. the couples have only known each other for 2 months. It isn’t a normal situation where you’ve been with someone for years and you know them well, these people barely know each other. Makes sense saying no and continuing the relationship for longer before committing to something as serious as marriage.
In the case of love vs blind where two people are just pressuring themselves to commit before actually being ready, its not wrong to step aside from the tv show and decide to actually take things slow and have a relationship.

It's part of the LIB contract that you have to go to the altar (aka not break it off before) and that if someone says no they have to walk off.
His friends have said on social media that production made them re-film his rejection. I guess that’s why it’s rushed and cold? The first time was apparently more heartfelt and Tom also spoke to the guests like Ollie did.

My friend got married to her husband this year and they both read from a note. It was so deep and heartfelt and really did nothing to dampen the mood at all. I think it probably made it much more comfortable for both of them to say their vows in front of everyone, and it makes it easier to include everything you want to say without potentially forgetting a thing or two😊 the nerves might make it tricky for some to fully speak from the heart, I know it would be difficult for me. I'm a much better writer than speaker, and it would be easier for me to be sincere that way haha! It's really up to each person to decide, I guess
