That last clip was more "Play to your outs" than the ones actually shown with that title.
tbh the Warlock potentially would've died from fatigue after his next turn anyway (depending on the cards in hand)
Especially because if Trump was *actually* playing to his outs, he would have bumped Matriach and healed it. In reality he just dumped cards out of his hand without thinking.

I was not expecting a throwback to one of the cartoons I watched over 25 years ago.
That 1:01 face is one I've only previously seen in cartoons.
1:27 would've been in a much better position if he attacked with the dragon and healed it for the 3/3
since his out is righteous protector, the opponent could only hit him for 7 that turn so he woul've been alive at 1
But opponent has 17 damage?
After the taunt, the opponent deals 7dmg, not 17, so yes, he could've heal the dragon
Wow, you're right. And he probably would have won from there, since he couldve almost full cleared the board, frozen one minion, then have one more chance to draw the Holy Nova.
Just goes to show how Hearthstone is not COMPLETELY RNG based yet. Very much so, but strategy still plays a very big role.

stepanLNU Yeah, I miscalculated a bit. The 7/7 would have been a 7/3 at that point, because of the attack of the Matriarch. So 3/3 goes there, Matriarch and Engi go into the drake, freeze the 3/7, and then he's 1 damage short of killing the 3/1, hence death. Close though.

Terrible misplay at 3:10. Correct play is healing the 3/2 with doctor and then kill the chain gang before playing second enchanter, would leave him with a 3/3 instead of 3/1 which would survive the double dreadlord and give lethal next turn.

how df is the amaz clip have anything to do with "play to your out" that's 2 topdecks, the only decision-making thing to run the dragon into the taunt and heal it or not (so that he can kill it next turn and try for lethal while surviving this turn at 1) and he fail that.

ktktktktktktkt There was absolutely no way he could have gotten lethal aside of holy nova.
bump and heal matriarch to summon a 3/3, get righteous protector off the shroom. No matter how opponent trades, you have enough power to clear off the hooked reaver and push in 2 face damage. The only downside to this play is if your opponent finds 1 damage in hand which you can perhaps make a read on with previous turns' plays. However, the likelihood of 1 damage as opposed to 2 or 3 damage is very low. There are very few cards that deal exactly 1 damage to face in this situation so I would say bumping and healing is a much superior play.

2:07 is pretty impressive in that it uses only Classic cards.
The moment at 3:12 the guy actually misplayed and had lethal next turn if he didn't. If he healed his 3/2 to 3/3 with voodoo doctor he could of killed the taunt and then full healed the board.
Next turn he would of had 2 3/1's on the board and then play a doomguard for 11 damage. That game could of ended waaay sooner.

so he could destroy it, otherwise there would be taunts in the way
To give it taunt so he could kill it. It's likely the warlock had another cube, taldaram, or smth so that play killed off the voidlords to prevent it.
So that he could kill it and destroy both of the voidlords coming out of it

He did bump the 4/9 which is why it was a 4/2, he only had 6 dmg, so couldn't kill the 7/7
