My auto insurance went up over $25 a month last year without cause. I called my insurance company and they said there were countrywide rate increases because of so many claims from so many people (not me). So, I wouldn't be surprised if EVERYONE'S home insurance goes up after this.

I haven't heard anything official, but you could be right. Wedge tornadoes are extreme rare in Florida but there were a few.
