Thank you for your video. As an ex gear-head , I can appreciate the 5-star tuning improvement. I can see how changing the engine and transmission settings would help. John- I LOVE your videos but I think 2000 rpm @ 55 mph is fairly standard on the 7.3 L engine. Maybe you meant you were accelerating on an uphill ramp when you observed that reading and before the tuning it was 1000 RPM higher. That would make sense. I recently traded in my 2022 Winnebago on the F53 chassis. Same engine, 45,000 miles driven over three years. We live in the west, drive through the R 6:19 ocky Mountains frequently and can handle 7% grades pretty easily . But our coach was only 30ft long on an 18K chassis. Not the heavier chassis the Bounder has, and we’re not towing very often. We just traded in on a new class C with same 7.3L Ford. I would be hesitant to change settings for a year or two until I KNEW it would not impact the warranty, emission systems, etc. But that’s just my opinion. I tend to be more conservative. Very interesting campground!
I installed the 5-Star tune on my 2020 35K with the 6.8L V-10, big difference in overall performance, now with the LiquidSpring 4 corner suspension and the 5-Star tune, the coach is a real pleasure to drive.
Excellent review, and this maybe my next upgrade! I just installed front Sumo Springs on our 2021 Fleetwood Fortis 34mb and what a difference that made on bumps and pitch/roll.
Why wait? They will send it to you now and you can test it out in the mountains on the way…..I think most of the V10s are preloaded like mine was and it’s really easy…..the hardest part was finding the OBD2 port they buried under my dash. Get a flashlight if it isn’t mounted somewhere obvious.
Haven’t heard of Benji’s but i’m down the Waldorf way. We did camp at a HH in SC that was a drive in and it was great. Saw the Bob Marley movie 👍🏼. I have thought about a 5 star ⭐️ tuner for my E450 class C but at 21’ long I don’t seem to lack any power 😂. Power to weight is definitely in its favor.
They told me to make sure I return it to stock whether it is under warranty or not. That way the dealer can get into the computer and they don’t think it is a bad PCM and want to replace it. They lock the computer so nobody can steal/cooy their program….probably costs a lot of money in R&D to develop that stuff
We just had a the rear track bar put on Coney shocks all four of the ones ready for 26,000 pounds the front stabilizer bar put on by safety + oh my God what a world of difference this is our 24 bound or 35K cost us about $3300 for all that
It is however your 5 Star Tunning they’re a couple years out from the 24 models 2024 models so I’m gonna have to wait a few years for that 5 Star Tunning that y’all have
We have a previous 2015 35K.And this was done to our engine and had to replace it after 7 years. Also destroyed our catalytic converter and are exhaust manifolds
Hi, can you share more information on Benjies? Is that located in Maryland? I check in their website and doesn’t say much of RV parking. I heard you said you have to be a harvest host member? If not, can you go see a movie with your Motorhome? I do have a Fleetwood Bounder. 35k 2023 also. Funny thing on their website they say that you cannot bring your food from the outside, how they control that if you go with your Motorhome? I think that experience seems to be great, specially, with that big screen that we have in our Coach. I noticed the entrance was a narrow gate. Is that the same one that everyone uses to go to the movies theater? Any additional info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys.
Sure! Bengies is in Middle River, Maryland off of Eastern Ave. They are a part of Harvest Host so if you have a membership the overnight stay is free. You have to pay for the movie ticket, of course. I'm not sure if they allow RVs that aren't a part of the program but you can contact them to ask. Food in the RV is allowed. They get we travel with pantries and fridges. 😊. The entrance for motorhomes is different than cars. The main entrance gate has a low overhang. So we use the delivery entrance. Ken is awesome and will guide you in if needed. The special instructions for motorhomes is on the Harvest Host site. So what you see on their website may differ since it's geared towards car patrons. Hope that helps!
Love your TH-cam channel. Very knowledgeable and so educational. Can I hire you to help us buy a class C RV? My wife and I will be using to travel around the USA. We’re located in Houston, TX.
They have been in business for almost 20 years doing this…..most of those professional tuning companies like that wouldn’t be in business if they were messing up people’s trucks and in this case $200,000+ RVs…..I have one and it is awesome…..more power and less fuel….thats like a 3 year old unicorn

Interested in getting a 5 Star Tune? Use coupon code AMPED to get $50 of at bit.ly/5Startune. What do you think of Bengies? Would you camp here?
I’m currently shopping for a used diesel pusher, but you’ve given me some interesting food for thought. Thank you.👍🏼😎
If we had to choose again, we'd buy a dp. So many benefits!
Really cool to see the improvement as a result of the tune!
We've been very happy with it so far.
Thank you for your video.

Very interesting campground!
The 2000 rpm was while we were accelerating onto the HW (uphill). I blame the editor for not making it clear 🤣.
The warranty just depends on the dealership….mine doesn’t care so I am lucky
A campground drive-in theater would be so fun! Just setup a golf cart with a roaming beer keg on ice and it’s a party!
Like the way you think! 😎

I bet! That's an awesome combo!
Plus that 5 Star Tune is a great bang for your buck. Nothing else you are going to buy that cheap makes that much difference
Benjy's is also Harvest Host?!??? I ❤ this place! How absolutely cool is THAT!
Yes! We were shocked when we saw it added to the list!
Excellent review, and this maybe my next upgrade! I just installed front Sumo Springs on our 2021 Fleetwood Fortis 34mb and what a difference that made on bumps and pitch/roll.
Glad you enjoyed it! The tune was well worth it! Sumo Springs are next on our list.
Haha! A drive-in movie theater! Totally retro!
We had a blast! Great Harvest Host!
I’m totally doing this when I get to the east coast.

@@kennethstuff9028 I was actually referring to camping at the Drive in Theater :)
That was pretty cool to take the RV to the Drive-in. Very creative 😊
It was nice with the big windshield and nothing tall enough to get in your way!
Great video, im going to get that upgrade. Thanks😊
Sure thing! They're running a Halloween special which might be less than our coupon code so check it out.
Glad you got some power for your RV. It sounds powerful. We don’t like scary movies either.
Good to hear from you friends. The additional boost is so helpful especially when merging on highways.
Good information!
Thank you! 😊
I bought a tuner at the ‘23 Tampa show. Was waiting to install it but this video got me excited so gonna do it soon.
Great video. Is the tune 50 State legal?
That was great at the drive-in. Went there every weekend as a kid, but never saw a movie. 🤣😂
Thank you! I don't think it's allowed in California.
@@AmpedtoGlampdon't ask, don't tell. 🤣
lol 😂.
They can’t sell to California because they don’t have a CARB Certification

Hwy 21 Drive-in Beaufort SC 👍🏼

Oh no! That is very concerning! So sorry it happened to you.
I doubt it was the tune….those manifolds are known for going bad
was that Bengies drive in in Essex MD? I used to go there as a teen ager
Bengies is in Middle River right off Eastern Ave. 😊

If they tell you how to cheat your manufacturer tune do we really think that is good?it doesn’t look like the sights are level. Lol

That all-in-one is a fantastic deal! Dinner, movie, and a night under the stars (in your rig).😁👍🏾💙🤍❤️
