Juan Pablo Valencia, igual me pasó a mí. Ví un video con imágenes de una ciudad y está versión, creí que era el KC original. Pero esta versión me gusta mucho más.
It's a cover! I swore that was another rare version from King Crimson!... I have no words, this is so fucking wondrous. This is not just a cover but a real tribute to a master peace, a tribute in the whole sense of the word. Man... just... Thank you very much.
This cover is so fucking beautiful. You really did a good job on the cover. To be honest, this is the first rendition of the song that I heard, and I thought it was the original at first (there's an uploaded video of this recording, but disguised as the actual song. (I was introducing myself to the band). When I got the actual album, I was confused why it sounded so different, so I tried to find why. I was surprised to find out it was only a cover. To be honest, I really like this version than the original! This feels more peaceful and solemn. Anyway, thanks for doing a very good job on the cover!
I knew the original one before listening to this version and I thought that this was like a more recent version of the band! He did a wonderful job with the solo so that something tells me that the sound of this cover is what the band heard while recording in the studio, as the original version suffers from usual 60ies sound issues...
I remember when he put this out and a friend of mine showed me king crimson a year or 2 before and It was before i played guitar and all of this was just magical. And now that I understand what he's doing it just makes it hit closer to home listening to it again 8 years later.
I remember for so long me and my friends thought this was the original version. Then it got removed from the playlist we were listening. For months we were trying to find it until we could. Absolutely brilliant!
Esta versión es la mejor que he oído incluso mejor que algunas versiones en vivo de KC ¡ Son sorprendentes y magníficos músicos! Estoy seguro que KC estarían maravillados con su cover ......mis mas sinceras felicitaciones !!!!!
The late man feels outside society and feels isolated. He just wants them to leave him alone. He has no one but the wind to talk to. He looks on society and criticizes them correctly. He knows that they are the fools. He just wants them to leave him alone to enjoy his freedom, to hear his own unique voice. David (Dahdee) Goren
that's an interesting take. My perspective is that the straight man(uptight, punctual guy) is the person talking. Saying their words aren't getting through to the late man(who always has an excuse to try avoiding his responsibilities). Ultimately the he lets the late man carry on with how he prefers to live. So we came to the same conclusion but assumed different perspectives from the same lines
This is beyond good. I've thought for ages this was the original version. It's accompanied me in some really really nice trips (I'd always put your song on) and to this day gives me great memories and feelings. Thank you Bastian, it's amazing
Especially cos it had a psychedelic video of the KC moon and stuff (video's been deleted) and it really struck a chord with me. Your solo is out of this world as well
I never confused this with the original, which I've heard over a thousand times, but it's a very good cover. You kept the spirit of it, and added your uniqueness, great job.
Beautiful and intricate guitar work, beautiful vocal and harmonies, nice bass, fantastic drumming. A Renaissance man. This song has always been one of my favorites since the late '60s. Cadence and Cascade is next, right?
I keep hearing again and again both the original and this cover... There are parts in this cover which I like better, and there are parts in the original which I like better... It is Amazing: I the original there are five persons working together, using woodwind, reeds, keyboards, mellotron, along with the guitars and drums... and here there is only one inspired and devoted person named Bastian Schuhbeck with only guitars and drums... Amazing indeed... David (Dahdee) Goren
I had exactly the same experience as Apol Demigillo this week. I was also introducing myself to the band and I thought this was the original version. Bastian Shuhbeck, it is a very beautiful, relaxed and in balance recording. Thank you so much and keep on picking and posting your recordings!!
You have a great voice...so similar to Greg Lake! You should cover all of Greg Lake's songs, like "From The Beginning", "Take a Pebble", "Moonchild", "Trilogy", "Lucky Man", "Court of the Crimson King", etc, etc, etc (just to name a few :-)
I was so certain it was Greg Lake I actually told my kid I found a new version of this song not knowing it was a cover, as KC has released at least 2 versions of this song as it is lol
This is freaking fantastic!! I always loved this song from the very first time I heard it. These lyrics are so timely here in 2020. And this version almost surpasses the original. I'm totally blown away with it. I need to play this song myself.
Man, I remeber when I started listening to crimson I downloaded your cover with knowing it was a cover. The voice and guitar playing style were so accurate relatively to the band members at the time that I only discovered this was an alternate version of a fan months later... I really think this is one of the best covers I have ever heard... and I'm counting with legendary covers like "all along the watchtower" and "hurt". Amazing job, keep it up!
beautiful cover - tasty guitar work and production. If Fripp and co. are gonna take the time to block all their music, the least they could do is give a cat like this his props. Bob, write something nice :-)
I love this song. Yours is the best version I have ever heard, including KC's. Please accept my gratitude for such a beautiful rendering of a classic piece of music.
Because of King Crimson's long-standing resistance to having their music on TH-cam, I only now discovered this wasn't the original version of this song.
Hello to both of you. Your version of "I talk to the wind" is terrific. Magnificent performance. You re two excellent musicians. I m very fan and I a King Crimson fan. Congratulations guys and thank you verty much for your performance
best "I Talk to the Wind" cover I ever seen.
This is the best cover I have ever saw in my life actually.
The guitar solo is really amazing
This is so unbelievably good, holy shit.
Always tought that this was the real version of the song. However, it's good. I like it too much. You did a great cover, my friend.
Not a cover. Total lip synch. It's really KC, alternate version.
Mark Hebscher This is not lip sync. It's a cover made by himself.
Juan Pablo Valencia, igual me pasó a mí. Ví un video con imágenes de una ciudad y está versión, creí que era el KC original. Pero esta versión me gusta mucho más.
Mark Hebscher no because his voice doesn’t sound exactly like greg lakes
this is definitely the best cover I've heard yet th-cam.com/video/SfukKJna93k/w-d-xo.html
Man, I loved that solo. Probably one of the best I've ever heard
Absolutely the most amazing cover I have ever heard of anything...
Favourite cover of my favourite song
Not only does he know how to play all these instruments. He plays them so musically, then goes a step further and records and mixes so damn good.
It's a cover! I swore that was another rare version from King Crimson!... I have no words, this is so fucking wondrous. This is not just a cover but a real tribute to a master peace, a tribute in the whole sense of the word.
Man... just... Thank you very much.
+Hitman Fullclip what the f!!! You're right, wrong button pushing, I can't find another reason... Or a reggaeton fan maybe hahaha
Probably its those who were expecting to hear the flute , but for the flutists good luck we can use this track to practice the flute part :) !
This cover is so fucking beautiful. You really did a good job on the cover. To be honest, this is the first rendition of the song that I heard, and I thought it was the original at first (there's an uploaded video of this recording, but disguised as the actual song. Anyway, thanks for doing a very good job on the cover!
Same exact thing happed to me :0
Exactly the same happened to me. I considered this the one and unique version.
This is me :D I still love this cover version more.
I knew the original one before listening to this version and I thought that this was like a more recent version of the band! He did a wonderful job with the solo so that something tells me that the sound of this cover is what the band heard while recording in the studio, as the original version suffers from usual 60ies sound issues...
Well done!! Brings back many high school memories! Glad to see a younger generation find love in such classic music.
Hey Prog Lovers! Thanks for the kind words! If you want to you can check out my band Karakorum: th-cam.com/channels/KS8i7rG5uoSKM5UfoMbPXQ.html
you play drums in the band?
hey man is there any tabs you used for this cover? id love to learn it
The late man listens and quietly ponders over this brilliant cover of a such a beautiful song.
Thats solo is insanely good
all these years thinking this was the original version and it was by far my favourite one
I remember when he put this out and a friend of mine showed me king crimson a year or 2 before and It was before i played guitar and all of this was just magical. And now that I understand what he's doing it just makes it hit closer to home listening to it again 8 years later.

same thing here
Esta versión es la mejor que he oído incluso mejor que algunas versiones en vivo de KC ¡ Son sorprendentes y magníficos músicos! Estoy seguro que KC estarían maravillados con su cover ......mis mas sinceras felicitaciones !!!!!
Man, this sounds almost as good as the original, and you don't even have the flute. That guitar solo was sublime. Thanks
There’s a sick nostalgic vibe I can’t escape from this cover... the last 30 seconds of the song is so hypnotizing
xXgtagod369Xx it’s that amazing guitar solo and I’m in awe how he’s hitting those harmonics
Plain incredible. For me, the KC version and this one are the only ones. Really good. You hace understood the vibe of the song without going cheesy.
Jesus Christ this is one of the best covers i've ever heard in my life! That's beyond special
Long before I listened to the album in full, I heard this reuploaded somewhere and thought it was the real version made by King Crimson.
Surprised to hear young guys like yourself to do such a great job on a 45+ year classic. Much admired and appreciated
This is one of those rare covers that are actually better than the originals. Great job dude
lol guess you skipped the flute solo part
Naaaahhh, boring but nice
@@aadishbhattarai739 the guitar solo here is better imo, I still like the flute part in the original though don't get me wrong
Not really, It is a great cover but not better
Are you serious?
Phenomenal. Hate it took me 8 years to find this excellent cover of honestly one of the couple KC songs I like. Killer!
The late man feels outside society and feels isolated. He just wants them to leave him alone.

@@Greennoob2 I am glad the straight man allows the late man to live. I have always dreaded the possibility of a bloodbath when I hear this song.
I've fallen in love with this version so much... for more than a year I thought that was the original! Well played, perfection my friend.
This is beyond good. I've thought for ages this was the original version. It's accompanied me in some really really nice trips (I'd always put your song on) and to this day gives me great memories and feelings. Thank you Bastian, it's amazing

Достойно, без перегибов, молодцы, ждём ещё
This is my favorite King Crimson song and man , you did a beautiful job.
simply beautiful, baby!!! keep up the good work!!
I never confused this with the original, which I've heard over a thousand times, but it's a very good cover. You kept the spirit of it, and added your uniqueness, great job.
Same here, and I can definitely agree to that. A very tasteful cover that lies perfectly in the middle of the spectrum for covering a song :)
Wow... just "wow". That's amazing
Wonderful cover! The solo is probably the best I've ever heard:) thanks for sharing this beautiful piece with us
just perfect huge respect 💪♥️
If I could only choose one and never hear the other again, this cover rendition or the original recording.......this one - yes, this one.
my vote for top cover vid of 2016, beautiful indeed and performed masterfully , young man you are brilliant .. please more

Incredibly beautiful, the court of the crimson king was my introduction to music, great job!!!
Incredible cover. Nice. Congratulations.
Congratulations for such a lovely cover. It has the same tempo and tone, and the performance has no equal, with a personal touch
.
Actually, It's a bit slower than the original.
so beautiful. I kept listening to this cover, and tears welled up in my eyes for the solo part.
Beautiful and intricate guitar work, beautiful vocal and harmonies, nice bass, fantastic drumming. A Renaissance man. This song has always been one of my favorites since the late '60s. Cadence and Cascade is next, right?
Beautiful!! Great arrangement. Cheers from mexico

Beautiful, serene, harmonious, I love it.
Great stuff guys, just amazing.
Brilliant the harmonies were great guitar and percussion fantastic best I've heard crimson would need to go some to beat it.
Absolutely love it
OMG! I love this song! very nice cover. Greg Lake would be proud.
this song and this cover inspire me to learn to play the guitar, thank you
I had exactly the same experience as Apol Demigillo this week. I was also introducing myself to the band and I thought this was the original version. Bastian Shuhbeck, it is a very beautiful, relaxed and in balance recording. Thank you so much and keep on picking and posting your recordings!!
What beautiful noise human beings can create

Awesome job man. Always loved this song. So mellow and calming.

Do you have tabs on the guitars?
Brilliant rendition, really like the higher pitched arrangement :). Awesome job overall! Cheers from Belgium
Vraiment magnifique...!!!!!!...

I want you to play at my wedding.
One quick quiestion, do you know any cumbias?
Absolutely fantastic! What a tasteful solo. Kudos to the harp harmonics!
