We are a travel couple, looking for a non-mainstream life of living aboard a boat and cruising in the Caribbean/Bahamas, Working when we can to fill the cruising kitty. We have sold everything we own, and we now own a cruising yacht. We have chosen to do this voyaging in a powerboat/motor vessel, instead of the popular sailing route.
Our mission is to help inspire people to live their dreams earlier in life, instead of waiting until retirement. So often retirement dreams are dashed by health issues or other unforeseen later-life circumstances. If you have a dream, then dream, plan, and do it now. We hope to make you smile, and spark the yearning in your heart for fulfilling your dreams.

I really like the way you took the time to show your pucker factor route through the shallow inside route. It will be years before I can follow your lead and go that far east into the Exumas, but I felt like I was there navigating with you if only for a second because of the level of detail you used to show the route.

Thanks. We used to cruise back to Ontario the first few years we did this. However nowadays we keep the boat south and fly into Canada for the height of hurricane season. The boat is put away on the hard in Florida.
We may someday come north in the boat again, but no plans as of yet.

Sheldon you mentioned spear fishing which is illegal in the Bahamas hope you meant sling fishing please clarify your statement!!!!😎😎
Spearfishing is allowed in the Bahamas, with a pole spear or Hawaiian sling as you hinted at. You cannot use a speargun in the Bahamas, and you can't spear with anything when scuba diving, you must freedive. We use a pole spear mostly.

Yes absolutely, when they are in season.
