I was 9 years old when my sister got married, and I received a teddy bear alongside a card that said ‘Will you be my bridesmaid’. It was entirely appropriate as I wouldn’t have been interested in the jewellery and champagne glasses the other bridesmaids received. C’mon people lighten up! Paisley is going to be a beautiful bridesmaid and what is most important is that Bailey is going to have her sister stood right next to her on the most special day of her life! Bailey picked age appropriate gifts for her sisters. I’m not sure why it’s such a big deal that a 10 year old got candy instead of a stamp set. It’s the same way you wouldn’t give a 10 year old a wine glass. Not to mention, Paisley specifically asked for a special treat instead. We are lucky that they are being so transparent with the engagement and bringing us along for the journey. If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. I was a junior bridesmaid at 12! I didnt receive the same gifts as my the actual bridesmaids who were 10+ years older than me because of age appropriateness, and the 6 year old flower girl received an age appropriate gift for her as well. People are so quick to judge and have an opinion on something that has absolutely nothing to do with them. If Bailey had asked us for suggestions or our thoughts, then I can see some of these comments being warranted, but they’re not at all.
It’s more important that Bailey has her sisters, family, and people who care about her there on her big day. It doesn’t really matter about the gifts. It’s sad that people are so quick to judge. It’s HER and Asas day so people need to stay out of it

I think what makes those of us disappointed about the situation is that we see things as there is nothing wrong with giving Paisley a wax stamp *in addition to* candy (which is what Paisley wanted). That way when all the bridesmaids look back on Bailey and Asa's wedding they all will have that emblem as a keepsake ya know? No hate, but thinking long term Paisley will grow to appreciate the personalized wax stamp when she's older.
That's not the point. She's a sister. A sister who is adopted and looks different to her other sisters. Perhaps it sits particularly badly with me because I'm adopted, and if I felt this left out, it would be absolutely devastating for me. Paisley is definitely old enough to receive the wax seal. This whole thing breaks my heart.

I love Paisley’s personality and people need to seriously relax. Paisley is 10 years old and she requested a treat. I think people need to think about what they appreciated when they were 10 and make their comments based on that. It was not unfair.

Everyone that is upset about Paisley receiving snacks instead of wax stamps… please think about which you would have preferred at 10 YEARS OLD (I would’ve taken the treat any day, what would a ten year old do with wax stamps I- 😭😂)
I think what makes those of us disappointed about the situation is that we see things as there is nothing wrong with giving Paisley a wax stamp *in addition to* candy (which is what Paisley wanted). That way when all the bridesmaids look back on Bailey and Asa's wedding they all will have that emblem as a keepsake ya know? No hate, but thinking long term Paisley will grow to appreciate the personalized wax stamp when she's older.
That's not the point. She's a sister. A sister who is adopted and looks different to her other sisters. Perhaps it sits particularly badly with me because I'm adopted, and if I felt this left out, it would be absolutely devastating for me. Paisley is definitely old enough to receive the wax seal. This whole thing breaks my heart.
So if Bailey gave her other sisters candy it would’ve been all good? 😂 it sucks that they didn’t think to give her something MEMORABLE being in her sisters wedding!

I was also almost the same age as Paisley when I was sister’s junior bridesmaid because I was significantly younger than her friends who are bridesmaids and that was totally ok!! I was too young to really appreciate what was going on 😂 and was just so happy to be part of the wedding! All love to your family!! So exciting ❤️

I just wanna say that I am so proud of Paisley. I remember when I was in my aunts wedding as a junior bridesmaid and how much of an honor it is.
