I’m 25 years old and my identical twin sister passed away when we were 20. It’s going to be 5 years without her this November. Living without your twin is the hardest suckiest thing ever! Hearing all of the twin quirks in here definitely reminded me of how me and my twin were. I miss her everyday. 💗

there’s always people who suffer like that around you... they just don’t tell you or tell good at hiding! If only people spoke up and that way there would be a lot of empathy and understanding... towards the person. I hope you get better and be better as a person! Edit: are good at hiding it **
I'm not a scientist, but I am an identical twin. I think the shared memories thing comes from the fact that when your twin tells you a story you can easily visualize it from your own first-person perspective because you share so many of the same circumstances, relationships, upbringing, etc. When other people tell you a story, you are more likely to view it from a third person perspective which I guess is stored in your memory in a different way. Tbh I'm not really sure if this is scientifically accurate but it is how I view this phenomenon because I have definitely experienced it.
I am also a Identical twin I think because We have spent so much time together I know what she would say, I know what she was thinking it’s a lot easier to see her when she’s telling me the story
on the other hand, roni seems very confident in herself and embraces her weirdness…she has so many good qualities besides her anxiety. She is hilarious, kind, and caring 💙

I've noticed that Vanessa takes things as they come and when something goes wrong she keeps her cool and figures out a way to make it better. Roni on the other hand has something specific in her mind and if something didn't precisely work out, she's quicker to just want to do it all over again. I see it all the time with the arts and crafts videos. When carving the pumkin house or doing the pancake art challenges. Roni "has to do the cooking by the book" where as Venessa adds a bit of this and that but keeps chipping away at that ice block til she gets where she wants to be with it.
Yeah, if you study MBTI typology, their cognitive functions are different. Veronica is very ISFJ (Si-Fe) whereas Vanessa is an ENFP (Ne-Fi). Those are typical thought processes of those two types!
Loved the whole video but especially when Roni and Nessa laughed simultaneously at 8:26. They never fail to make me smile but this one in particular is one of my favourites.

I'm the younger twin. I really felt like my sister was kinda the leader and I just followed whatever she did. We were in the same classes until 5th grade, and I never really did my own activities or anything. She was quiet too, but she was willing to be the more outgoing one in most situations. I feel like I used her as the shield for most of my life. When she moved away at 18 (we're 30 now), I felt lost and had to figure out my own identity. I'm also the one that struggles with anxiety and mental health in a way that impacts my life daily, and I'm the one who is very sensitive (to everything) and more in tune with her emotions than she is with mine.

I’m a fraternal twin. When we were babies, there was one instant where my mom saw me disappear to the other room, where the stairs were, and come back. I then talked to my brother in complete gibberish, and he started following me to the other room. As babies, we were never allowed to go up the stairs, so there was always a gate there. BUT the gate was open, as someone had obviously forgotten to close it, and I had told my brother this fact! I even looked behind me as I crawled up the stairs to make sure he was still following me. My mother watched this in awe, laughing at the strangeness of it!
i find it crazy how much i relate to roni, especially with the anxiety thing, its nice to hear her talk about it and know that there are people who go through the exact same thing as me
My grandpa was a twin he is now 89 but my grandpa's twin died of a heart attack when they were 66 and whenever ANYONE mentions or even if my grandpa sees a photo of him he gets very sad and choked up. It is a sad feeling most people don't understand and it breaks my heart when I see farfar like that.

The only thing I would ask is do you guys ever get confused when looking at a mirror unexpectedly, or think the other twin is a mirror. This is something that happens surprisingly often with my twin. If not you guys should really try a mirror maze. That was the most confusing thing that has ever happened to me!

I have a twin sister and I can confirm that the language thing is accurate. My twin couldn't speak for a few months after I learned to talk so she spoke to me in a language she made up and then I translated it to my parents.
