I have a question, I own a t10 + unit and I maybe want to upgrade to the omni. Can I buy the docking station with out de robot? Or do I really need to buy de robot that comes with the dock
Thanks for all these vacuum robot videos. I think I've watched all of them but still unsure what to buy. I have carpet and hardwood floors and rugs on some spots of my hardwoods. So I have been looking for a vacuum+mop combo that can auto-lift mop on the carpet. I don't want to attach/detach the mop. Of course, powerful vaccum+ deep cleaning is important. Also, removing dried stains. Having a full bag sensor self-empty bin is also a huge plus. All I said, with a reasonable price, since the rr s7+ max probably has all, but besides that, are there any other options? Thank you very much
Curious will you retest the Omni X1 again. I suspect it will have improved since they have made all the updates. They updated the mopping plates that the X1 does a much better job mopping now witch this T10 probably has the same moping plates. There are also new features added like the corner cleaning wonder how that works.
I'm really considering getting this bot, so far I have not gotten any of the self washing robots yet but really thinking about trying one. I have also decided to sell my Roomba J7 Plus and a friend of mine is buying it. The fact that it takes the J7 Plus around 3 hours to clean my apartment with 2 passes because it needs to go back and charge when all of my other robots can do that and still have some battery life left is just not acceptable for me anymore. I will not even consider another Roomba unless Irobot switches to Lidar navigation. At this point, Ecovacs, Roborock and Dreametech are walking all over them. I cannot think of a single reason to even recommend a Roomba at this point, they don't offer any advantage that these other companies don't have.
Vorwerk announced that they will be shutting down Neato robotics due to economical issues and stiff competition. Neato was unable to innovate because they didn’t have the money to do so. If Neato didn’t exist, Roborock wouldn’t be the same, so may we have prayers for Neato and let Neato rest in peace.
@@AdamsReviews Bissell too, they haven’t been doing too well in the Robot Vacuum Space. But at least they have other products too that could keep them alive
I'd like a video about vacuum joystick & camera (remote) control (i.e. home security) options. It's the opposite of the Adam "set it up and forget it" philosophy, but an important function for the forthcoming Helping Aging Boomers Stay In Their Homes market. That is, I want to be able to monitor the house, clean it, and reassure the occupant (remotely, by voice) that it's just me doing a little vacuuming from across the country.
Hey Adam, I thought of some other tests you could do with this robot, since it vacuumed so well, how about a comparison between the T10 Omni and the Roomba S9 Plus. Also it might be fun to do the mega stress test with this robot, since it's similar to the X1 series, it probably has a setting that allows you to have the robot empty itself after a certain amount of time. I've tried to figure out what the differences are between the X1 Omni and the T10 Omni and I think there are two of them. The X1 Omni has an onboard water tank and the T10 omni does not, since the station wets the mop pads this probably doesn't matter much. The second difference is the obstacle avoidance system, the X1 Omni, actually all three of the robots in the X1 series have a front camera and a 3D scanner, the T10 Omni, and the T10 Plus have just the front camera. Ecovacs has recently introduced two other robots besides the T10 Omni and I now have the two other new ones in my collection. One of them is the T9 Plus. www.ecovacs.com/us/deebot-robotic-vacuum-cleaner/deebot-t9-plus Based on reviews and videos I've seen, this robot has actually been out for more than a year, but for some reason Ecovacs never released it in the United States until now, I have no idea why. It's an upgraded robot from the T8 Plus which I also have and it's also an excellent robot. The T9 Plus has more power, an upgraded 3D Laser for obstacle avoidance, and it includes the pro mopping attachment that could be purchased separately for the T8. It also has an air freshener. It's a really good robot and I have no idea why Ecovacs chose to wait so long to release it here. It uses the same self empty dock as the T8. The other new robot is the N10 Plus. www.ecovacs.com/us/deebot-robotic-vacuum-cleaner/deebot-n10-plus-white There is a Best Buy exclusive version of this robot which is called the N10 Max Plus, I think the only differences are the color and it has slightly more power than the regular N10 Plus. www.bestbuy.com/site/ecovacs-robotics-deebot-n10-max-vacuum-and-mop-robot-black/6535159.p?skuId=6535159 The version I have is the Max version, I can't help but wonder if it will get the same firmware updates as the regular N10 Plus, hopefully it will. This is also a really good robot, if you don't need the obstacle avoidance and are content with a regular mop attachment, it's a great choice. One really nice upgrade compared to the previous N8 series is that the N10 robots now have a 5200 MA battery instead of 3200. Another interesting thing about the N10 Plus and N10 Max plus is that they use the same platform as the T8 and T9 as well as the same auto empty station. I figured that since these had 10 as part of the model number they would use the same auto empty station as the T10 Plus and X1 Plus, but that's not the case. I can't help but wonder if Irobot is planning any new models, if they're not, I don't see how they will remain competitive. At this point, companies like Roborock, Dreametech, and Ecovacs are walking all over them. The Roomba J7 combo is a total rip off compared to robots from these other companies. I honestly can't think of any advantage that the Roomba offers at this point, Lidar navigation is far superior to camera based navigation and they are charging $1099 for the J7 Plus combo. The price of the Ecovacs X1 omni is currently $999 and the T10 Omni is $899 and these robots are superior to the Roomba J7 Combo with everything. Even the Roomba S9 Plus is still selling for $999, for that same price, you can get the Ecovacs X1 Omni which probably vacuums just as well and also has the mop features.
Just purchased mine for $470 through their website. My 3rd deebot.
Does it dry the mop pads, or do you need to remove them when you vacuum?
It does have a dryer, I forgot to mention in the video and I meant to say the biggest negative is that you have to remove the pads for carpet.
I purchased the Roborock S8 Ultra Pro. It's expensive! Was wondering if I made the right choice? I have a mixture of carpet and tile.
I’m happy to hear this because I was thinking about getting this
How about cleaning the pads?
So Adam tech! Which do you recommend? Ecovac t10 or roborock s 8 ultra?

It would be interesting to do a head to head comparison between this one and the Roborock S8 Ultra.
I will have to find out the difference between the T10 and X1 OMNI.
The X1 has a 80ml onboard water tank, while the T10 doesn't

Figured this would happen...irobot may be next if they dont step it up.
