I'm 71 years old and I have never watched any convention in my life I just watched the highlights, but at that first Democratic convention I was glued to my seat it was awesome I watched the whole convention from start to finish. Let’s be frank, Hillary ran a lackluster campaign with no real policy substance. Obama was angry when she lost and he blamed her soulless campaign. Her own husband said the way she ran the campaign was awful to a point he said her campaign couldn’t sell kitty on a troop train. She blamed everyone else but herself of why she lost. The DNC rigged the primary for her and then she gave the middle finger to Bernie supporters. So, whomever was her campaign manager is also complicit because he gave her bad advice that she shouldn’t placate to Bernie supporters or meet with them to ask them what she needs to do to gain their support. Although, what did happen was a change in the democrats platform, superdelegate reform and a means tested tuition free college proposal. She failed to campaign in the rust belt. She said everything is good and nothing should change which was not what the reality was in communities all over America suffering from wealth and income inequality. She lost to the most beatable candidate in US history if she campaigned on economic populism she would’ve in my mind beat Trump easily but the corporate centrist no substance or policy campaign is what led to her loss. So, she made bad choices and her campaign manager should never be hired to run a campaign because losing to Trump has to be the most embarrassing thing to place on your resume.
So many families would still be speaking to each other.

It has to be said. It has to be called out. Last night Fox News censored one of the most dramatic and crucial presentations made at the opening night of the Democratic convention. Three young women offered their personal testimonies of the anguish, hurt, damage, soul-searching, risks, and recovery they experienced when confronted with pregnancies that nearly cost them their lives due to draconian anti-abortion laws. While these three young women related their tragic circumstances to the crowd, silently both stunned and emotionally-connected, Fox News cut away and didn't, show ONE MINUTE OF THESE TESTIMONIES. I know because I switched over from one channel airing all to Fox which aired none. This media censorship was clearly intended by Fox as these stories were too powerful and heartbreaking for its viewers to contront. Instead, vapid and useless commentary by Kelly Anne Conway and others aired. After the presentations were concluded Fox returned to the convention for a short time. Then Bret Hume and the panel later complained that the Democrats were joyfully celebrating abortion. Such a lie and one that every viewer would know false, only if, Fox allowed these three stories to be seen. Never before have I experienced unAmerican and Orwellian programming such as this by a major outlet that was surely not brave and unafraid. Shame!
