    Jessica, I'm pretty much a silent viewer and I love ALL your videos. I've learned a lot from you but I still call myself a beginner and probably always will. lol I know you said this video is about the taping off of the bottoms of tumblers but these glitter colors together are just so very pretty and sparkly. I appreciate your time and talent and thank you for sharing it with others. Take care and God Bless...

    Hi Jessica, thank you for posting such awesome videos, your tutorials are so easy to follow. I have a couple of questions, if you don't mind:
    1. Does the edge trimmer work with a handled cup, like the 14oz camper mugs? Or does the handle get in the way?
    2. Is it possible to tape off the very top of the tumbler to avoid having to sand the rim to seal the epoxy? (does that even make sense? lol) I just seem to have a difficult time sanding the rim evenly and it often times ends up looking bad. I've tried it with a sanding block, sanding paper, and even tried a rotary tool to try to make it even, but it doesn't come out right.

    • @FlynnSistersBoutique
      @FlynnSistersBoutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there! Yes it will work for handled mugs and it will work on your top rim in the same way and same process to get there ☺️

    I have been going BANANAS lately with getting tumblers level. I measure it with level, but somehow the foam or insert is not inserted level because it’s unlevel elsewhere and wobbly. I’ve started following suit and stopped finishing bottoms. Thanks for the inspiration!

    • @FlynnSistersBoutique

    With the epoxy you’re using do you ever have issues with your white tumblers looking dingy and yellow? I have a few cups that I spray painted and didn’t use glitter and that’s what happened to me 😭😭

    • @FlynnSistersBoutique
      @FlynnSistersBoutique  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Is it yellowed before you mix it? Sometimes epoxy will Amber over time before mixing because it’s oxidizing. Also, you’ll want to use a high quality epoxy that has UV protection in it.
