I absolutly love 'Dance of the Vampires' The final song is greate and catchy :D
I adore the phrase 'Jetzt laden die Vampire zum Tanz' (The vampires invite to a dance) But I don't really like my translation ^^' The german sentence sounds much more elegant, but this is the best I could do ^^'
Die Videos aus diesem Account haben mir so sehr geholfen, als ich erstmal mit Deutschlernen angefangen hatte und die Liedtexte gar nicht verstehen konnte! Tanz der Vampire war das erste deutschsprachige Musical, das ich je hörte, und ich begann es zu hören, sobald ich mich entschied, Deutsch zu lernen - noch vor dem ersten Unterricht! Neulich hatte ich meine B2-Prüfungen und vorgestern war mein erster C1-Unterricht. Ich liebe diese Sprache und ich liebe deutschsprachige Musicals!
I LOVE THIS FINALE SO MUCH FR. Finale a happy ending, I'm so tired of vampires dying on the end smh, this is so much better
I am quite inclined to agree with that. I rather enjoy this ending myself. Although I do wonder how long it will take the professor to figure out what has happened, he appeared to go off into his own little world at the end.
Thanks so much for uploading this! I saw clips of the US production and it's nothing like this! This is so much better, I can watch this over and over.

It's so cool! They suddenly reminded me of Drusilla and Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer with that one move alone.

I actually have a soft spot for the US version since it's what introduced me to Dance of the Vampires in the first place but there's no denying which is the superior product. (Though I did like the US's Sarah a bit more)
I have a softer spot for Streets of Fire. Tonight is What is Means to be Young is one of my favorite all time songs.

I like that they added her looking nervous that she'd actually killed him. I think in some productions they have them dancing together in the finale, I like the idea

Und "Tanz der Vampire" ist immer noch eine bessere Liebesgeschichte als "Bis(s) zum Morgengrauen".

"Jetzt laden die Vampire zum Tanz" can translate to "Now the vampires invite you to (a) dance" which is a little more elegant :)

anyone know why 6:48 is in English,only that three line not in German?
Because it the song was originally written in english, and they thought it sounded cool I guess. The original song is "Tonight is What it Means to be Young"
