- This was the craziest color morphing I have ever seen! I had never experienced a fragrance oil do anything like this 😆
This fragrance is described as Clementine, Grapefruit, and Black Berries; middle notes of Wild Fig, Black Currant, and Passion Fruit; all surrounded with base notes of Precious Woods, Sandalwood, Vanilla, and Metallic Musk.

I'm glad your original plan returned in the end, but the morphing colors looked nice, too.
Wow, huge color difference!! It looked beautiful in both combos and your final soap looks absolutely amazing
Your videos relax me ❤💕🦋
Wow. That's amazing how the curing process "color corrects" the soap for you. Looks nice!
😮 OMG Julie, I saw that morphing, and literally said out loud "Oh $h*t!" LOL, and my dog looked at me like I had a second head! I'm so glad that color came back! The green and yellow were nice, but that blue and white with the vanilla speckles is to die for! I bet you did a huge happy dance when you saw it! YAY!
As a new soaper I cannot tell you how much your videos have helped me. I tried your hot transfer method today and it was the most successful batches I have ever made. Continue to make beautiful soaps and thanks for sharing! ❤️❤️
You are the real deal when it comes to soap making love watching you make your beautiful soaps. Thanks 💕
I had the same thing happen with this fragrance! I had the inspiration to film a video for the first time and decided to try this fragrance. All of my previous soaps had been perfect. Let's just say that I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, and never finished filming. They should put out a warning that this happens to keep people from panicking! The fragrance is amazing though, I really do love it!
yeah i have no idea why natures garden doesnt put this in their CP testing notes
Boy, both you and Stacy from Yellow Cottage Soapery had some edge of your seat What The Crap Is This Soap Doing? moments but you both handled them amazingly. I rather liked that green and yellow, but was happy you got your blue! Great looking soap, Julie!
Just goes to show, you’re the queen! Even when things don’t go as planned, you still produce a beautiful soap. Strange color changes and all!:))
That's one heck of a color morph! Such a beautiful soap and I will have to add one to my order because the scent profile intrigues me.
It really does smell amazing! One of my favorites from Natures Garden. Although I definitely panicked mid soaping, lol!
I'm so glad the colors came out in the end! From the thumbnail and scent in the title I was kinda worried, like, the green and yellow is cute enough that it wouldn't have been a disaster, but it's definitely not the color combo for the scent at all.
My son (7) and I watch your videos before he falls asleep. Usually putting him to sleep. Their so beautiful and soothing. We love the different ideas, methods, and just seeing the whole process is so cool. This video we took bets on weather the oil made that happen. Come the end we were right. He’s a soap making pro I tell ya 😂.
The change was so drastic they both look so good!
Wait what! I was expecting green and yellow soap. Amazingly beautiful.
Crazy morphing 😵 Beautiful soap 💙
The sky and the sea in one soap...beautiful one.
That was so cool!!! I liked the morph colors, but wow, so neat it's on video.
Ouaou this is awesome at first blue and White then Green and yellow and the magic at the end loving watcing you TH-cam videos
That was amazing...WOW...I have never seen that happen. Great looking soap and I bet it smells wonderful; sandalwood is one of my favorite fragrances.
That's awesome it looked great green and yellow. Good job
5:12 My favorite part of this wonderful soap making video
Thank you! I almost cut most of that out. I wasn’t sure if anyone would want to see it all. I’m so glad it’s your favorite part:)
@@OpheliasSoapery Thanks Julie for the reply...😘.I'm loving your videos..
Please if possible, include more soap cutting clips in various angles....🙏🤗
the colour is so cooool! it is so crazy!
Very interesting color morphing. It was beautiful either way though!
Seeing these videos motivate me daily.
Another gorgeous soap. You know... The green and yellow didn't look too bad honestly. Might be interesting to see one with colours like that in the future, but maybe as a gradient?
This is why soapmaking is sooooo intriguing! You never know what is going to happen. Whether its fragrance oils or micas morphing, its always interesting and educational. The soap turned out beautiful morphed back but it would have also been gorgeous if it had stayed green and yellow!
Wow your soaps are wonderful
I watch these videos like they're great short movies..lol...beautiful soap
just crazy. lol whew, is right! beautiful in the end
Ah! When I saw this video pop up on my feed earlier today all I saw was the picture and I was thinking “I love what she’s been doing with these greens” 😂. Green is my favorite color! But blue is a close second and the soap is beautiful!
Honestly, your videos are so enjoyable to watch 💜
This is the first one I've tried from my sample pack ❤️ the scent is wonderful! I am so glad to finally have some of your soaps, they smell as luxurious as they look.
Wow, that color morph was a wild ride! It turned out great!😍
What a pretty blue!
Great Job!!
That color change was CRAZY! 😱
Speckled soaps are also my favorite! 😍
I'm glad the colors morphed back! I'm sure that was a big relief for you. It's crazy the difference.
Beautiful!
Great job girl
the end result is beautiful 😍
I hope you remake this one, sandalwood is one of my favorite fragrances. That color morph was crazy though!
The resulting soap color is gorgeous, but I really loved the color scheme that resulted from adding the fragrance oil. It is interesting how different the effect was. Very neat video.
That was just amazing to watch. Thanks for sharing!
LOL i just used this scent today and i was freaking out because it turned my purples this muddy brown and my uncolored bright yellow !!! glad to have come across your video because i thought my soap was ruined.
This was unexpected but both colour ways were pretty. I do like the vanilla specks, not too overwhelming.
Q lindo seu trabalho😍
Very nice! 💜
Beautiful perfect ❤
It is amazing to see chemistry, physics come to life in soaping
Crazy morphing!!
Perfect
Thats pretty cool, I haven't experienced this yet, it still came out pretty .
Wow... interesting! Love it!
Hi Julie! You are quite the magician!! Love the color it turned out. Seems like the oil ate up all the yellows in your batter. :) Bath and body works has a fragrance called Black Currant Vanilla. I wonder if this is a take on that? It's my absolute favorite of their aromatherapy line. Usually only available online now. Have you ever experienced that scent? LMK if this is similar TFS
Early crew!👌🏼 Soo pretty!! 💙 Love those swirls! I know, it’s scary when things morph like that!😆 I wish you would blow us away one day with an intro video! 😘Also, I love this fragrance oil! I used this one in my Avengers Inspired soap! P.S. Speckled soaps are my favorite too☺️
That was a strange color morph. It turned out gorgeous
This happened to me a little while ago whilst using an ultramarine and a particularly yellow oil. Had I not understood color theory, I would have been in tears! I think it reacted because of the sulfur in the ultramarine.
This happened to me as soon as I added my fragrance oil that was clear mind you and my blues never went back. 1 shade turned teal green but everything else is green. It’s a pretty soap but I wasn’t planning on it turning green.
Did you remake the soap for cutting?
I really can't believe how drastically the color changed.....what a transformation.
Great job as usual!
Nope it’s the same soap. It morphed back to the original color I wanted.
Not going to LYE, I loved the green and yellow. I wish you shipped to Canada!
I do 😏
@@OpheliasSoapery WHAAAAAAAT!! That is a game changer. Did you not in the past? I remember trying to buy some of your soaps and not being able to. Perhaps I am insane lol
I kinda liked it green and yellow more. 😁
Um, I was digging the Green And yellow even if it wasn't what you were going for. I think it would have looked just as good.
I had a blue that turned red when I added it, but dried back to blue when it cured.
The joys of chemistry!
Mine was blood red and green and it change to Orange and gray🤔🤦
That was a crazy reaction! Was that a scent creation, or a premade scent?
Pre made from Natures Garden 😳
How does the speckling effect occur in soapmaking?
It came from the vanilla bean powder I added. :)
Why do you use heat transfer method? Is it faster? Is it for more experienced soapers?
It saves time. Instead of waiting for hours for your lye water and melted oils to cool. The heat transfer method lets you soap instantly.
I would say a beginner could use this method.
Whew, that was interesting! It turned out beautiful as always. What are the dimensions of your soaps? I'm deciding on getting that 25lb mold from Workshop Heritage.
I cut mine a little over 2” wide
bonsoir je letrouve tres beau mais j ai du mal a comprendre se sont tes fragrances qui ont changer ta couleur ?
when doing the heat transfer method... do you use the same recipes as with the regular method? Or does the recipe change? Never really tried a heat transfer method and wondering why you use it but only sometimes :D
It’s the same recipe. If I have time to prep my oils and lye solution I’ll use the old fashioned way. But I usually I’ll just use the heat transfer method because it’s way faster (you don’t have to wait for your lye and oils to cool down)
@@OpheliasSoapery thanks so much for your answer! I've always just been doing it the other way and waited for it to cool down... gonna try the heat transfer method next time :D
yellow → green? → blue??
Will it turn yellow green again when it gets hot in the shower?
No it will stay blue and tan :)
I've never had a color change like that. I would have had a heart attack lol.
Yes, and me!!
Lindos
That was just bizarre. I wonder if running cold or hot water over it will make it look yellowish again - like those toys ha ha
why using hard oil and butter?
You make soap using oils. I chose Shea butter and cocoa butters.
💙💙💙💙✨
Color changing magic - you meant to do that:)
Looks like avocado 😅
Why is it that I could watch a full length 10min video JUST of you melting/squishing butters? WHY?!?!?
