That was already overwhelming :D i cant imagine how i would react to 3x48 inch 4k :D First game id play would be Cyberpunk 2077 too, or maybe the crew2 or i could imagine that horizon zero dawn looks awesome like that.
Haha it's surprisingly tough to do - especially with each independant stand. You can correct for bezels in the Nvidia Control Panel. If this was my permanent set up, i'd fine tune it properly.
About $1500 USD per monitor + $1500 USD for the graphics card = $6K setup and you'll need a beefy PC on top of that. Not outrageous, but definitely extreme end of PC gaming.

On MSFS NVIDIA surround is not realistic at all due to the side images are stretched. Adding side views is possible with the experimental features (last option in the MSFS general settings)
I want to see a single screen with the dimensions of 2 of the ones you had with a curve to them (think odyssey g9 blown up to 65-75 inch) as that would give you decent wrap around, less stretch at the edges and all contained in one single screen. We can only hope.

IF and memory controller are asynchronous on Zen4, fCLK usually goes up to 2000/2133Mhz on Zen4. I've seen some Ryzen 7000 with 6400MT/s mems, sometimes 6200MT/s.
It's absolutely useless for the GPU to render the "peripheral vision" displays at full quality. It's a shame driver-level VRS is hard to do. Maybe in Vulkan games? It's also possible VRS will be rendered useless if eye tracking + focal rendering is transferred from VR & widely adopted
Back when I had the 3080, I was able to assemble a few hacks and force the gpu to render the side displays at 1440p and the middle at 4k. It was janky & crashed all the time, but improved FPS significantly
There we go, three OLEDs in a setup and apparently it's working out. \o/ How does dimming behave in that scenario? Do they dim automatically? Individually or is there a conformity? I've seen it with Barnacules trying 3x 48C1 and ASBL just ruined it, made him return the setup because whatever he tried, the screens always had different brightness levels and AFAIK ASBL cannot be turned off with the service remote. In another video it looked like the Asus PG42UQ/PG48UQ showed the same pixel cleaner nag screen behaviour as the Aorus FO48U. In that case it was a static box with thick red frame annoyingly pushing the user to do a pixel refresh while gaming. I forgot whose video it was but the box remained in the corner for several minutes, not moving. Yeah that made a lot of sense. Now if only the Asus price dropped like LG ones have. I know, it's taken quite a while for LGs, but will we see those 799 EUR offers for the Asus as well next year or so? :D As far as gaming goes, I'd prolly be trying out CP2077 or have a look at Forza 5 on those screens, but knowing me I'd likely be playing Diablo 3 again. 😂 Been happily using a single 48C1 for over a year now. The really only things making me wonder are: Would 42" be better? Would a matte display be better?
the highframerate with 1 4K is so much more immersive, no way I will play at 3x4K, one 4K 32" HDR GSYNC 144hz is the best with a 4090. High framerate and top graphics...

@Matthew Walsh I mean same set closer or 55"+ screens instead would fill the view more and maybe bring even more crazy experience. Side screens should be for extra visual info only, but those stupid game HUDs sometimes force themselves to the screen corners which is already an issue with a single big screen.
Can you comment on the apparent reduction of picture quality from the anti-glare coating/matte finish on this OLED panel vs. glossy panels like the LG C2 and semi glossy like the AW3423DW QD-OLED UWD? The PG42UQ would be a no-brainer purchase for me right now but the matte AGC kills it for me from all the comparisons I've seen with controlled lighting conditions. Seems like there's no ideal option - they all have their drawbacks (C242/PG42UQ/dual AW3423DW stacked vertically). I want to upgrade my AW3821DW ASAP with my new 4090 OC Strix/i9-13900k build ASAP for productivity and gaming but I'm torn between those 3 panels.

Really hope that NVidia releases the RTX4090ti (WITH display port 2 [which is powered so no it won't just be a bios update] and HDMI 2.1a and PCIe gen 5 [so it uses less lanes] - so fixing all the bottlenecks of the RTX4090), BEFORE black Friday this year - if they do, I will get one. If they don't do all these things (that deadline with those bottlenecks removed, which amongst other things limited the RTX4090 video output to BELOW the resolution & refresh rate that it CAN already produce) I will be switching to AMD, which doesn't have those bottlenecks and will be out before black Friday.

And their RTX4090 has two big bottlenecks that the soon to be released AMD GPU will not have. You have set the surround 11520x2160p@120hz? Its is possible using a 3080 or 4090 where the max resolution is 8k@60? I cant set 12k@120hz, my cables and my monitors suport 4k@120hz, i'm using 3080.
Sounds like this is minimum a $9k USD setup. Monitors alone would cost out ~$5k, CPU $700, GPU $2000, MB/Case/RAM/Cables/etc ... $1500 Forget power usage ... it'll cost you $1000/yr just to run the PC ... 😂😂😂
Seems like each monitor on msfs 2020 rotates on horizontal axis independently which will create disorientation when looking to side monitors (or I may be just missing on something). It’s experimental though so who knows future update will fix that.
Are those displays genlocked? Is that even needed? It reminds me of SGI's Reality Centre in Reading...but that was a whole room and spherical displays.

How did you wire this? What was the port setup on your RTX4090? Did you daisy chain any of the monitors? I also have three monitors, but my RTX4090 has only 2 DisplayPort connections and one HDMI connection.
The only drawback of this config is the resolution. Since your position is incorrect, you should take a sit at a longer distance and the 2 side monitors should have a smaller grade, the difference between 4k and 1440p, at the correct viewing distance, couldn't be appreciated. 7680x1440 138hz would be a better pick for the rtx 4090 since you need to reduce the quality applying DLSS and probably frame generation at the current res.

48:9 is just too wide. All of the corners in every game get streched. for desktop gaming 38-40 inch 21:9 is best size with enough height
The side screens are supposed to be stretched. It is for peripheral vision, as you look at the center screen only. The exception is a sim racing setup

On MSFS, monitors should be folded in more to replicate a better side view. Seen this done on other flight Sim setups and its super nice.
Seems like each monitor on msfs 2020 rotates on horizontal axis independently which will create disorientation when looking to side monitors (or I may be just missing on something). It’s experimental though so who knows future update will fix that.

You has been set the monitors individualy to 4k@120 or set surround to 11520x2160p@120? How is possible if the max resolution gpu is 8k@60?

I don’t think there that I h of a difference between a CX/CI/C2 and one of these monitors honestly! I stand corrected 120 to 138hz screen refresh is worth the premium …. Not! The LG C-series would be, I feel a cheaper and at least just as good an experience 🥰💪👍

As I spend most time on desktop, I usually watch my Netflix and stuff here only
I am not much into competetivie gaming as I game once a week when time permits so having clear and crips documents and better content creation and consumption is the choice
How did you wire this? What was the port setup on your RTX4090? Did you daisy chain any of the monitors?
I also have three monitors, but my RTX4090 has only 2 DisplayPort connections and one HDMI connection.
Most 3000 and 4000 series cards have 3 Display Ports.

So the Strix OC 4090 cards have dual HDMI outs?
The only drawback of this config is the resolution. Since your position is incorrect, you should take a sit at a longer distance and the 2 side monitors should have a smaller grade, the difference between 4k and 1440p, at the correct viewing distance, couldn't be appreciated.
7680x1440 138hz would be a better pick for the rtx 4090 since you need to reduce the quality applying DLSS and probably frame generation at the current res.
