Dave had seen his audience drop, seen people like rateMytakeaway come in and sort of copy his content. Guys probably stressed and depressed. He had debts and was able to pay them off and reduce his working hours. Hope you guys reach out and give him some advice/direction to make more meaningful content which will do better for him
RateMyTakeaway didn't copy BVM. There's tonnes of takeaway reviewers. You only say that because they have regional accents and are both fat and bald
I get why people like him but he is getting the equivalent of 2-3% of his subscriber count watching him and many of them views will come from people not subscribed.
As the views have died his content has arguably declined. All I’m saying is instead of Laurence sanctimoniously mocking him why doesn’t he offer his mate a bit of advice and friendly pointers?

Sit down with you and give you some advice with production and editing instead of making a 30 minute video about how bad your editing is? Give you some ideas how to better structure your videos. Im not saying you need this but I’m just saying they have a team making their videos and you’re one man. I really liked your van construction series, podcasts, football talk and your beer reviews personally. But I realise you’re one working man and can’t make that stuff all the time. I’m just not really into politics myself right now as listened to enough of it during covid!
Lawrence does, unfortunately, come across as a very smug and patronising person. He seems to love looking down on people and making sure he has the definite and final word on a matter. It can be very frustrating to watch, as I don't think he used to be like this a few years ago.

For a channel such as TrueGeordie that for so long has claimed to be mental health conscious and so on, the result of this video and lately the channel in general is staggeringly tone deaf. Dave is clearly struggling and hanging on to anything for views and yet these two just annihilate him in a manner of laughing at him thinking they’re laughing with him. Lawrence seems to get off on anything to belittle and undermine anyone. It’s sad and disgusting.

Dave did it to himself by filming himself getting angry at everything and showing himself up to be a typical 50 year old English 'bloke' character that hates anything left wing and any new ideologies that have come about since the 70s. Cries about people getting easily offended, but then works himself up over an England football song. It's okay not to do food reviews every video if he cares about his health, but branching out into the sort of content he's doing now was a massive mistake. I loved his self build camper van series. I would like to see more videos in that direction. Sadly won't happen now.

Pleased to see afew comments like yours. I found this mostly uncomfortable viewing to be honest. Particularly Lawrence's unnecessary hysterics. They've featured BVM before on true news and taken the piss abit, and he's also appeared on Kick Off, but personally just found like this time, they crossed a line with it.
