    I did purchase the Jard Trigger. The install was very easy and adjusting it was also very easy. I have mine set to a 3oz pull. I went to the range today to try it out and was very impressed with the trigger. I also let a friend shoot my gun and he has an Anschutz that he shoots all the time, he told me that it was very close to the trigger that is in his Anschutz. He is now thinking about ordering one for his CZ 457... Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I would purchase this again.

    I recently bought a Shilen trigger for my Bergara B14 R. Practically no trigger movement and it is set at 2oz. Nicely built. I really like this trigger.

    For $3.50, I bought a Glock reduced power FPB spring and got my CZ 457 trigger down to a pull weight of 2.9 ounces. Shot four 2500 targets so far this year in the ARA Factory Outdoor class. I decided it was a bit too light and adjusted it to just under 4 ounces.

    My Timney brakes at 3.5oz. Just work on the adjustments. I am pleased with this trigger. My Manners stock is excellent, I am shooting 1% off perfect cards with Lilja barrel, Manners Stock, and Lapua OSP ammunition,, couldn't be happier.

    Dang that trigger is light. Building a CZ for benchrest, so it will work fine, but will stick with Timney for my other rifles. Waiting for a new digital trigger gauge to see how light it is. It does not register on my current basic gauge. Ordered the 3 to 6 oz Jard, so it is probably around 4 oz. Yikes! Don't shiver in the cold weather.

    Did you experience any creep before the break? I just got mine in and some pulls will be solid single stage, and randomly will have up to an eighth of an inch of creep before breaking. Jard wants me to send it back in so they can look at it. Just curious if I got a bad one. I did adjust seer engagement as low as safely possible and it helped, but didn't eliminate it.

    Josh, I saw you have the DIP aluminum magwell installed on your build. Do you find the magazine block to have side-to-side play, basically loose because the DIP magwell internal sidewalls are spaced further apart? Do your magazines have a lot of play side-to-side (not front to back, that would be bad and affect mag lock-up)?
    I find the OEM plastic mag housing to fit the mag block snugly and my OEM mag and L3i 13-rd aluminum mag to fit well (not tight, and not loose) or any slop side-to-side like I have with the DIP mag housing.

    • @PursuitofAccuracy
      @PursuitofAccuracy  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I haven't noticed any side to side play. I haven't looked for it either to be honest, since the mags run great I just leave it as it is

    • @stevenlee2780
      @stevenlee2780 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@PursuitofAccuracy thanks for the feedback. I recently purchased one and after install, I noticed a lot of play with the mag block and with the magazines as well. I have been trying to work with DIP and sent photos showing the visible differences. I think the recent production is a bit different as the internal dimensions are clearly different from OEM, yet the outside dimensions match up. Given that polymer “thickness” needs to be more to have rigidity and aluminum can do the same rigidity in thinner thickness, it goes to stand that the internal dimensions will not be the same (aka more room). DIP is giving me a hard time, and eventually requested it be sent in for their “QC check”. As an engineer, I have already measured all the dimensions to quantify the differences. As a backup, I got (2) OEM housings from CZ USA and will run with those until either DIP replaces mine with an appropriate one or refunds me.
      I only tell you this as you are an influencer (at least to me!) and if you make recommendations, to just know that it is possible, (sample of 1) may not be as good as other people’s experience. Case in point…Volquartsen extractor for CZ457. Thanks for the feedback!
