Also bought the medium Puzzle but preloved last month. Made more sense because have many smaller bags and wanted something little bigger. In winter would like to fit my gloves and beanie inside. Also would like to be able to bring an umbrella and or swell bottle when I want. And Medium would be great travel bag. Fits my ipad also. Been only wearing it as crossbody, so no experience sliding of my shoulder. Lovely Loewe collection you have.
S. Fernandes the medium is such a good size because it’s not too bulky and it can fit A LOT! How’s the condition of your Preloved one? I’m curious about how the leather holds up over time.
It is holding up great, just few scratches on hardware when you look up really close. No scratches or dents on leather, surprised at quality of leather and the leather smell inside is lovely and still strong. Mine is more pebbled leather and gotten squishy and pliable. Not as structured as the new ones, and looks great when not full, the curve on top in middle just love it. It is a great purchase, you will enjoy the puzzle just as I do.
Can You please advise which of two Loewe bag do You prefer, Puzzle or Hammock? I would choose both in size small, colour tan. I know it’s not an easy questions but I can get only one, and You probably have some good points.... Thank You!
Hi Nathalie, just ran across your video while researching a new Loewe purchase. I wanted to comment on the reason your bag didn’t sit well on your shoulder; the strap is meant to be worn with the decorative studs on the underside and just the round knobs on top of the strap, visible. If you just turn the strap around, it will stay on your shoulder like a charm. Hope this helps!
It strikes me that the zipper should open a bit wider and maybe the centre of gravity of the bag is too far out from your body and that's why it pushes out and slips off. It is super pretty but thanks to your great review I am thinking it's not for me. I treasure function too much.
Did you mean to say the price went up by $100, not $1000 in the description box? I had a minor heart attack thinking it went up by 1000. I've been eyeing this bag for a while, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
On the strength of reviews like yours I just purchased the medium tan puzzle. It’s beautiful and I’m keeping it but like to many bags on the market the prices are skyrocketing. It cost $2,900 and I’m not exactly sure it’s worth the price. Luckily my daughter works for a high end store and with her discount it came to $2,064 including tax. Mine has the feet but has only one wall pocket divided by stitching to form two pockets. BTW thumbs up on this post. Your collections and you look amazing.
Now that you have had a few months to use it, what are you're thoughts as far as value? Wear and tear? I also am eyeing the puzzle bag and am trying to decide between the small and the medium. Recommendations?
It’s beautiful and the medium is a large bag. I have a 2003 Speedy 30. I would say they are about the same size. The interior is big and It holds a lot. It’s a quality purse and has no visible wear. As to it being worth almost $3,000 there in lies the problem. Why is it so expensive? I bought a Max Mara coat on sale for about $800...handmade in Italy. I discovered later that these coats are made in kitchens of small town homes. They continue a tradition of fine hand sewing and are paid by the meter. One woman said the most she’d ever been paid was the equivalent of $24 for a coat. Maybe I wouldn’t mind so much if the craftsman was receiving a fair wage. I don’t know what the situation is at Loewe. I personally would not have purchased it at $3,000 simply because in my opinion no bag, not even Chanel is worth it.
@@ritaroad Thank you for the info. I am with you on the fair wage for those who actually do the hard work. Unless your daughter can get me a similar deal, I think I am going the "pre-loved" market route. lol I don't see the value of the Chanel bags either. Basically they are charging for the so-called "status". I don't care about "status", it's practicability and cost per wear that are matter and the quality that I am buying. If it lasts and I can use it, then it is worth the money. It seems quite the quality of a few of the so-called luxury brands is decreasing while the prices are going up.
@@jewelnabq01 I have a Speedy 30 purchased in 2003 for $530. I love it and it’s gone on several trips with me. The new ones cost twice as much and are cut so thin they’re weightless and gold metal not brass. Then there’s the very nice but expensive YSL sheepskin tote. Pretty but I’ve hardly used it and it has a small scuff. I have a suede Coach saddle bag. Also love it but I have to check the weather in order to use it. The Burberry backpack in technical nylon is a workhorse. I splurged and paid $75 to have my initials put on it. I’m not even sure they’re still using technical nylon. And now the Loewe and that’s it. I don’t need anymore bags.
@@ritaroad I haven't considered the Speedy. It does look like it would function for what I am looking for but I like the look of the Loewe better. And I am guessing the medium size will suit my needs best. My only worry with the Loewe is if it rains, as you pointed out, and the cost. Fortunately it doesn't rain much where I live. I have an LV work tote in epi, and small dress up bag and was looking for something that is an everyday bag that I don't need to be "fussy" with and can use as a shoulder bag when I am shopping or site seeing, or even work if I am not carrying a ton of stuff. Like many others, I carry more these days with a mask, hand sanitizer, etc. Have you had issues with the strap falling off the shoulder? I hadn't heard that issue until this video. I appreciate the feedback. Any info I can get is helpful.
Sold my small and just received my medium. Can you pls let me know if yours comes with a front pocket? I watched some videos and theirs came with 2 back and 1 front interior pockets. Somehow mine only has the 2 back pockets
@ *LVGUCI* You are so well-informed about luxury accessories and bags. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much.

Thinking of adding the Loewe puzzle bag to my collection thanks to this video! Love your style 🥰🥰
I hate bags falling off shoulders too. Thx for the review
I love the mini and the hammock in your collection.
thank you!
Agreed. Love your jewelry. I am a David Yurman fan too.
Thanks! Davis Yurman makes the best pieces- such a good balance of feminine and masculine. 🙌🏼

Thanks so much! I’ll try this out next time I wear it.
I think wider straps generally do not stay on the shoulder as well as thin ones. It's more comfortable.. But that's the con 😕
it's totally a con. i might consider buying a different strap for it later. Loewe makes a beautiful braided leather one that i've had my eye on.
