I just got this laptop yesterday as a gift and I don't understand half the things your complaining about. I have an old model HP Pavilion Windows XP that as heavy as a tank 😳😆, and it gets really hot at some point at the area below the keyboard, but this new one is as light as a feather compared to that one and doesn't get hot at all, plus typing on this keyboard is a breeze, my fingers fly across it with no problems. I'm still learning all the ins and out of it and I know that will take a little while, but my only gripe is that I wish it had more of a printed instruction manual instead of having to figure out how to get around it on screen.😕

i love this laptop its lighter than any other type but most of all it do the job that i'm intended my laptop to do so. yeah there is kind a issue if you put it flat on a surface so i use a stand at least this hole is not covered

Yep, it’s still going (just needs to stay on the charger, plastic build cracking, one hinge breaking, & does not load Microsoft files from emails anymore). All in all, Toshiba made stuff built to last and that’s what I want in my next laptop but with touchscreen now and 15” screen. What do I do? 😭💔 I don’t do much and I’m very basic when it comes to using laptops but I have a lot of work files and make colorful activities for my students.
Laptops in that generation were built to last. Sadly I really cannot think of any laptop now a days that will guarantee you another 10 years. The good news is that there are plenty of laptops. It sounds like you prefer durability, if so consider Dell's Lattitude or Lenovo's ThinkPad series laptops.
Been using HP 15 for 2 years now. It's a decent machine and quite well-made for it's price (mine have much lower specs so it is much cheaper but also much slower). But my fav part is the speaker. For a cheap thing, it sounds much better than most expensive laptops my friends have. And it's loud too! Often just leave it at 20% and that sometimes are too loud still 😅

My “HP 14 Business” is apparently the new name they use now for an upgraded laptop. I think the students are led to buy a different version on Amazon. My business laptop seems to have a more robust keyboard and case. After some reading I find my new laptop is cited as the 2022 model. Apparently I have to replace the CMOS Battery already.
How do you get the camera to work it's a lot of little things I don't know so I'm going to head learning how to at least download some stuff but how do the camera work do I go in settings and set it up or download it it should be downloaded already shouldn't it this is Sirnut
I think at this point it’s really more a matter of which OS you want? This machine will outpace the older 2017 intel based MacBook in terms of performance.

having issue getting this laptop to work on dual monitor via a HDMI splitter (which works on my other laptops) when I have one monitor via splitter and another via HDMI I am able to get dual monitors working no problem but would prefer to run both via the Duallink splitter. Any ideas?
It looks the same design wise, the spring mechanism, key travel and board beneath are very different. Don't take my word though, just go and try a envy keyboard vs this one.
Pavillion will be strong enough to handle games like final fantasy X genshin impact but if you lag on high setting you will need to lower. pavilion is a laptop made for college student.
