    The way Larry mentions Natalie's death so off-handedly reminds me of that meme about a funeral where the guy says "We're gathered here today because somebody [*glares at coffin*] couldn't stay alive...'

    Larry King: " The Natalie Wood thing?" WTH? She was his wife. Oh that's right, you've had nine of those, right Larry? He sounds like he's talking about something easily expendable, like a hat or some old shoes. She was a valued human being, to her children and sister anyway. The cold callousness is despicable.

    She had a .14 blood alcohol,(3 times the limit to drive) she had painkillers in her system according to the coroner, Wagner admits to a verbal fight. Walken had this to say about it:“Anybody there saw the logistics -- of the boat, the night, where we were, that it was raining -- and would know exactly what happened,”...The captain's version does point to Wagner though and claims Wagnor had busted a wine bottle and sent everyone away from him, then when he asked where Natalie was he claimed Robert didn't care she wasn't on the boat and that they didn't look for her with the search light..his version of the story is MUCH different than what he originally said to the police years ago.

      Actually Walken has spoken to the detectives in recent years and has corroborated the Captains story of what went down!!

      .14 is not 3 times the limit to drive, it is just short of 2 times the limit.

    You know, I do have a problem with the excuse that Natalie Wood "Slipped, and fell and hit her head, and sank into the water..." What are the chances of that? Is that more likely, or that the admitted argument between Wagner and Wood escalated to violence? Thank about it... Also, Wagner and Christopher Walken were hollywood big shots and smooth talkers, they coached the ship's captain (Dennis Davern) and had the story rehearsed for investigators. Davern later admitted this. Watch this clip it's right here! th-cam.com/video/GQRvLIvs8EY/w-d-xo.html ..

    She had a fear of water & drowning. I remember that. People that have those types of fears do not go off by themselves on a dingy. I remember watching the show he starred in with Stephanie Powers-Hart to Hart. I think he got rid of Natalie to be with Stephanie Powers. Maybe they had a fight over his affair with her. I always felt it was not an accident. It was very sad. He shows no emotion about it.

      Angela Baiers Fear of water yet she's Partying on a yacht???? Floating in the water??? Lmao. Being drunk and already floating in the water one can reasonably see her taking a chance and getting in a dinghy to get away from two arguing men. Plus I'm sure she was being a bit dramatic being Drunk and all.

    • @OldskolFan
      @OldskolFan 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      das 1988 Good point. A person truly afraid of water probably wouldn’t go for boat rides; so hence, why did she go yachting then? Drunkenness does give people liquid courage; it also results in many death and injuries annually.

    • @songbirdy
      @songbirdy 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Her and Wagner had had the yacht for years and liked the privacy of it. She once said she liked being on the water but not in the water and that she had a fear of dark water. I know it sounds contradictory that she would be on a yacht but she loved being out there on it. She felt safe on it. Her mother had put the fear of water into her when she was very young, telling her that she was going to drown because a gypsy gave her a reading and told her that. And Natalie had a mishap while filming a movie when she was 9 where a bridge collapsed too soon and she fell into the water and they kept on filming as she was fighting and struggling to get out of the water. She broke her wrist during the shoot. Her mother put all kinds of fears into her, her mother was crazy but had her own reasons as she lived through traumatic things during the Bolshevik revolution in Russia when she was just a small child herself. The book I read on this family was quite interesting....

    He knows how to dance and evade the question. Looking at this now he is good actor. Sure he probably is tired of being asked about natalie death. Weither he did or not. Yeh its something he carry with him rest of his life he probably does miss her. His guilt or counscouis will open someday. Or he could have been is such a drunken blackout rage he may not remember all that went down. Capt said lets turn on searchlight look 4 her he said noo we will wait 4 her return. Interesting too spouses may also be in denial that something horrible happened to the other.

      If that line of thinking was actually followed, no crime would ever be solved because nobody would go through the trouble of looking into anything. You have to approach everything with some amount of skepticism if you want to find the truth. Assuming the best in people all the time is a dangerous game.

      Robert Wagner had anger issues when he drank. I truly believe that he had and has bi-polar disorder which is worsened by a lot of alcohol and it causes paranoid thoughts which he had because he thought Natalie Wood and Christopher Walken were having an affair. Natalie Wood liked to feel attractive knowing she was getting older and so liked when her male co-stars gave her attention in a non-sexual somewhat flirtatious way. She rested her hand on Christopher Walken's knee as she laughed at whatever amusing thing he said. Robert Wagner saw this as confirmation of an affair because jus racing thoughts (demons) told him this was proof she had sex with Christopher Walken. He started screaming at him about wanting to seduce his wife Natalie and Natalie left the cabin to go to bed in humiliation over Robert's accusation and outburst.

      Wagner owned the boat and called the shots. The so called captain got paid to keep the boat maintained. He actually lived on the boat and had become friends with Robert and Natalie. (When Wagner bought the yacht, it was this guy who actually delivered it to them by sailing it from I forget where...but since he knew the boat so well Wagner kept him on and they called him 'captain' but everyone knew Wagner was the real boss on the boat.)
