I built chaos turbo for my friend, his favorite card is bls, and I drew the whole trinity and he card destructionesd me. It was unreal. Damn I love goats.
Before watching: JCVD93 is one of the few players on the ladder ranked ahead of me and he always has my number when we play; I cant be mad though because he's such a nice guy
Finally watched. amazing match and game 3. way way way better than johnathan labounty and alvarado who play like tryhard next level posers. a lot of good plays made here by both players
@@dfag2311 yes that labounty final was very weird... Both dudes knew each other very well and that made the game more of a guessing than yugioh. It wasn't pleasant to watch.
@@GoatFormat I'd argue that until anyone besides JCVD, Geist and Dontcopy actually run goat control (do the latter 2 even still run it?) it might as well be a casual/tier 2 deck. JCVD's deck is hyper teched to his playstyle and how experienced he is with the various lines of play his deck is capable of and so it would take another person quite some time to get where he is. That's a lot of games you'll probably lose. Maybe other pro players who are already qualified can try and find a way to step over their ego and intentionally lose to learn similar variants of goat control. This is the main reason no one runs the deck. Theoretically it can still compete and maybe even be teched to beat everything but then you'll have go do all that effort for each tournament since you're playing a tier 2 deck vs tier 0.5 Chaos Turbo all the time. It's just not feasible if you're a competitive player.
Some effs are mandatory and they have to be used, even if the " conditions " aren't met. For example, even if your opponent doesn't have a hand, your thestalos still uses its eff. In goats though,it won't matter but in later formats with pulling the rug, this is very important to know.
That Pot sitting at the top missed by 1 draw was BRUTAL
Also advantage of setting Spy over Faith is that you'd rather not draw into a 2nd Spy if you can help it.

It’s an awesome format!
Congrats to both duelists, great final. Seeing g3 live was fire
Love the high level match breakdown thanks for the vid
One of the best italian player on the scene , well deserved
13:49 why did he not ask for prio breaker? in that scenario he couldve shoot the other with breaker no?
Breaker prio is only to gain the counter

This one here js one of the best finals i ve seen for goats. No weird , " allegedly" pro moves, good guessings and a balance game from both sides.
@@EmpireOfLEMBERG agreed

Great match! Would love to see some casual decks covered too
that might be better actually because the competitive games of the week really haven't been performing very well maybe I can change it up

Couldnt dan choose not to activate morphing jar like ryko in edison?
Morphing Jar is mandatory , ryko is the same but you can decide to mill and not destroy
Ryko s two different effs mate. Destroying and milling are two separate effs.

"please be nice, these players are European"
i dont disagree but thats a wild thing to say
I just need people to be nice in general the TH-cam comment section is a cruel place sometimes.
Assume he was referring to the time zone differences with europe being so far ahead/behind but yes it was funny lol
continuous motion in DAN's avatar made this too distracting to watch - had to leave early.
hey thanks for that feedback next time Ill make sure to take those off for the motion sensitive duelist out there
