This is one of the best videos I've seen on this channel in a _long_ time. There's been a lot of plugging for the design sessions, and this channel has suffered on content. This video is back to the roots of the channel, and I _love_ it! Please bring back more of this traditional content!

WOWfunnyVideos I think the majority of the clips were from another channel shes collaborated with in the past: "The design network". Ive watched every Robeson video and multiple times so i know for sure ive seen a lot of this content before but she did mention at the beginning that shes not featured one of the kitchens on this channel.

I totally agree with you!!! Ive commented that before, its preferable to have 1 super usefull video once or twice a month, rather that a bunch of quick and empty videos.
This video was very educational and pointed concrete things that we all can apply while choosing a kitchen.

Um.. Have you tried a Design Session? Because they are by far the best class I have ever taken, loads of content, laughs, and seriously 10$ to get personal Design advice for MY HOME from the same Designer who is Designing Millionaire/Billionaires homes.. She in real time answers your questions and when possible pulls up images you sent in of your own home and styles it/problem solves.. 10$ bucks!
She's plugging it all the time because it's damn good and so many people are missing out!!
I used to live in Colorado. Colorado Springs and a suburb on northwest end of Denver. I so miss Colorado, the climate, shops, restaurants, gorgeous scenery. Some great memories in Colorado for me.

LOVE this Video, for several reasons:
#1) Kitchens are the MOST EXPENSIVE Room in a house, so you REEEEALLY want to get it RIGHT!
#2) Kitchens are CHALLENGING bc there is a GREAT DEGREE of SKILL, SPACE PLANNING, PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE, and AESTHETICS THAT ALL COM INTO PLAY...
I am a Designer + I have done a few kitchens. I would LOVE 2DO MORE bc I PERSONALLY LOVE THINKING THRU + PLANNING HOW TO MAXIMIZE EVERY SQ. INCH ("MAXIMUM FUNCTIONAL UTILITY")

By far the best designer on TH-cam, and I've been gathering, processing, reading, analyzing and bringing to fruition my dream kitchen, dining area and media room for the last year. Home stretch now for phase one of our multiphase remodel plan, but Ms. Robeson, your out-of-the-box thinking style is right up my alley. You've literally saved me hundreds of hours in planning--especially my kitchen, and I appreciate you sharing your expertise. Thank you.

I always use binders for my design inspiration. As I implement, the binder becomes the repository for all the receipts and manuals for what we bought. This saved me when Hurricane Katrina wrecked my home. Rather than spending weeks trying to recreate the costs of what we lost, I just handed our insurance agent the binder. We knew exactly what was lost and it’s value. He was in shock. And we got the maximum payout on our insurance after depreciation. I would have never gotten as much without the binder. When you can prove that the “old rug” in the living room was a valuable antique Tabriz, it all goes much easier..
You are WAY past winning an award. You are too BRILLIANT for an award, at least the winners I've seen. I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing, talented designer. (I hope you will do work on the East Coast.) I've done five kitchens, and I loved learning about your process. (It is not my career.) I learned so much from this video. Thank you!

I recently came across your channel and I am so impressed at how creative you are. I had never seen such beautiful kitchens ! I have been looking for ideas for my little galley kitchen, but I don't have the means to do something grand. I love to cook, there's not enough counter space and I need a two people sitting area , where I can have coffee with a friend.
I have collected ideas from magazines, catalogs .Is it too much to ask you a few questions , I know your time is valuable. Would it look too dark/ cramped up to use dark cabinets? I currently have oak. I plan on using stone on the counter and backsplash, is it too much ? I have purchased stainless steel appliances. Thank you. All the best to you. Frida Ferguson

I LOVE THE DARK WOOD KITCHEN
I've always loved these kitchens. I've shown many family members your kitchen videos. I point out your approach to the project and say watch the videos a couple times because you'll learn something new each time. This time for instance, cabinets that sit on the counter and your suggestion that gives you back the countertop space but keeps the feel. LOVE IT!! You know what I also noticed, you changed and not only your hair. You now seem to be more comfortable, I guess. You just seem to say, come on in , sit down and lets chat. Like girlfriends do. You enjoy sharing and mostly teaching. Your good at it Rebecca. Thats why I'm in Design Sessions.

Your designs are phenomenal!!!!! I want a luxurious kitchen no matter where I decide to reside at. The kitchen is the heart of the home. Oh and love the hair too!!!!!
I get so energized just on seeing you. watched your video after long time and I am pumped now. Our family is building a new home and basement concreting has been finished few days ago and form-work for the first floor is going on.
This video is awesome! I wish I had seen it before I remodeled my kitchen. A few take away's for me is.... I did a few things right like mixing hardware & using custom cabinets (much to the dismay of my GC) and you just gave me a huge gift...... I can now stop beating myself up about not putting in the full counter-top cabinets in! I see so many beautiful kitchens with the cabinets that set on the counter-tops but I opted not to do that so I could maximize my counter space. Thank you. I'm going to stop doubting myself and just love my results!

Ahh feeling so much better after watching this. I have been sick to my stomach due to the mess my house was left in after a natural disaster. The tearing down of structures has been a no fun, but in the process I figured why not try to make it work and turn it into something better! Only thing is low funds, a 45 day tick-tocking temporary housing, and hubby and I down each others throat in stress of it all not helping. Then in the verge if tears I turn to these vids for inspiration and virtually just to getaway.
I absolutely love those designs. That was a really great tip that you shared about not matching the hardware on the cabinets and drawers.

glad to see you don't use all the same knobs. I chose a brand that had the same style and finish, but lots of options as knobs, cup pulls, bar pulls and bail pulls . The bar, bail have cage design but the knobs do not except for the 2 9"x42" pullouts on the wall, I chose a cage design larger knob that would give leverage pulling it out of the cabinet. I still have to install them all, because the counters go in tomorrow :) Thanks for the inspiration

I'll understand if you don't, you have impeccable taste, it's probably nearly impossible to achieve that look for a lot less.

Id love a kitchen remodel video for minor updates. Like to paint or resurface existing cabinets and what's best. Also, how to add little things to your kitchen that make it look custom on a lower budget.
