Perfect little pattern I could use for ALL KINDS of fish! I love taking a basic pattern and adjusting it to match the size and colors variants of my local baitfish.
i know Im asking randomly but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
Paul, thank you for sharing. Another great video. Do you have a link to where the buy the angelina fibre and the fluorescent beads you use in your other videos.
Nothing stopping you doing that and I have done that for the roach. However I can't always get the colour I want so the purpose of the tutorial was to show you that you can achieve IMO better results with a pen. Plus you keep some money in your pocket
What adhesive do you use to hold the Angelina fibre in place. Super glue I use does not hold well as fibre will pull out. Oh and I just subbed, thanks for a great video.
Hi Harry, I have an allergy to super glue and UV /epoxy resins so can't use them. I find Liquid Fusion a good substitute to secure slippery materials. For the head I now use Tear Mender, Evostik Serious Glue and coat the eyes with liquid fusion a couple of times. Needs a little patience and a drying wheel, but works for me.
Wow😱! What a perch... Or was it really a Rapala?! Seriously, fantastic streamer and a perfect name for it. You totally changed that with the sharpies. We're the yellow and green fluorescent, the caps glowed? Do you use the liquid fusion as is or diluted? And how long do you let it set before 2nd coat? I think bottle says 1-2hrs to dry, 24hrs max strength. I've never used on flies, only repairing things. Painting flys or lures is great fun. I've used markers to "paint" minnow body streamers, and I dicovered by accident the colors bled when I reinforced the tubing with nail polish. I used everglow tubing, which is now hard to find. You get some cool effects by blending, it's a bit like watercolor painting. Your work is awesome, so glad I happened apon you channel, btw the music was great too, who was it? 👍😎
Hiya Joe, yeah those neon sharpie glow when you hit them with the UV light. I tend to leave 12hrs between coats undiluted. You'll get a bit off shrinkage with it, but it doesn't crack or yellow so worth the effort. The music I get off the free TH-cam Music library. First track is 'Dont Look' by Silent Partner. The second track is 'So Lost' by MK2 All the best Paul
James, think of it this way. I give up my time to share tying tutorials for free. When I started learning to film properly, use sounds equipment and edit. It was hard and sound over was the only way I knew. Now all videos I talk and try to share my thoughts. TH-cam is a journey and people need to respect those that try to help within the Fly tying community. That's all I ask, otherwise others will not sure and you will have to think for yourself
