This is my first time watching after finding you on instagram. I am a bourbon guy being from the Eastern US. Thank you for the beautiful content and cheers!
Nice little baitfish! Suggest that you use a tooth-pick or brush for applying your epoxy instead of your fingers - the resin is hazardous. Repeated exposure will develop into a sensitivity and cause a rather sever allergic reaction. Cheers!
@@rickroy3257 I always put resin and epoxy on my flies without gloves on, how about you Rick , i even eat my lunch while i am doing it. *Just because i am missing 3 fingers and a thumb dont mean you can make fun of me now thats not very nice. 😆🤣👍
Santiago de cuba rum. Found only in Cuba itself as it is not exported but it is the best, smoothest rum I have found. Or some good ol' screech for those cold winter nights...
Well done....great example of how to do these sculpted flies. I needed that. I do have a question, though; I believe these types of eyes (and many others) are opaque...in that no light passes through them. Yet I often see them initially secured with uv resin, rather than a super or flexible type of glue. Seems like at least some of the uv resin behind the eye is likely to not cure. Am I all wet?
Thank You! The uv light triggers a chemical reaction in the glue and sometimes you can even see the hardening process when curing it. You are right with the eyes not being see thorugh so you have to find the angle to get the uv light behind it - if that makes sense. :-)
Not a bad choice if you ask me! Yeah i really love german “weissbier” but like you Said - one has to be careful with the beer.. Especially after turning 30.. 😅😅😅
Thank you! I havent really discovered the World of whiskey for my self. I dont know. I guess its the sweetness in the aftertaste of the rum that gets me. 🤔
Killer fly, your one of the best I've seen, you need some hot sauce for your finger nails, it will help you from chewing them off, lol, thanks for your time
Cool fly ,you should check out Gunnar Brammer I think some of his techniques on the imposter fly that he ties would help you tie this fly faster and better
This is the best method I've ever seen on TH-cam, it has a perfect volume.
Thank's for tying this great baitfish!
"This is not a coke tube" 🤣 Excellent minnow and nice choice of beverage.
