Loved Torso back in the 80s. Anyone with any recordings of them and Trevor Shakes showing off their craft, I would love to see it. For me 70s & 80s were the best eras in terms of dancing and music ❤
Just watched this video of my brother Hoyle (R.I.P) Thank you Devon for uploading the 2 versions which could not be viewed on a mobile/ tablet . I remember seeing Torso perform in the Lyceum club. This brings back great memories! X
We finally found a way to edit the clips into sections so that we could get around the problems with mobile phones `. I remember the Lyceum event and I have photographs of that and other performances. I didn't want to put everything out three just in case we do get the opportunity to explore a decent and respectful piece of journalism or TV exposure I hope these videos will bring some happiness and hold that happiness for the future. Devon Buchanon My name is Pat. These videos have brought pleasure to our family. My mother's face lit up when I showed her. We are so very proud. I'm just grateful that we were able to once again enjoy the art of dance which these young men displayed with such energy and style.
Many many people remember Hoyle and Denis... and even back when Torso was created by Trevor Shakes which I know Devon will not mind me mentioning. It is a joy to watch as were Unknown Kwantity who were also all male all black dance group. Sending you love... your brother is sorely missed but am sure he is dancing with the angels..
