and thats why I like this channel....never talks down to people who buy budget guns....or calls us the POORS....shows that you can get it done with budget stuff.
Get a better rifle you filthy poor. Seriously though, I don't know why people act like you can't hit anything if you don't have a 3k rifle with a 2k scope.
@@UI_Shaggy05 i get you. Is that what you started hunting with? I started with an old lever action 30-30. It always takes me back to some great memories when i hold one.👌👌👍👍
If you ever get the chance to get your hands on a vintage Husqvarna rifle, DON'T MISS IT!!! You won't believe the action on it (Swedish Mauser... like glass!). I've seen them range in price, but certainly well worth the money for the quality, made in a time when people actually cared.
How could this video deserve 4 thumbs down? Great video of great groups from a working man's rifle and scope plus in my opinion of what I have seen is the most accurate ammo. Can't wait to see bullet performance on deer
Great video! What most people don’t know is actually Norma is the cream of the crop when it comes to ammunition, and ammunition components (powder, brass, etc). Their new Bondstrike shows huge promise from what I’ve seen. It’s just not non-toxic, and that might not work for some areas.
People! Wouldn’t it be fun to be as good as our intrepid rifle man at marksmanship? Just think! You could go to the range talk trash about what you are going to do. Then you could actually do it, post it on TH-cam and people could actually SEE YOUR SKILL SET and then it’s not talking trash because you can actually do it! I just love posts by our intrepid rifle man!!
Just letting all y'all know I'm still alive...trying to watch from the mountain of Northern New Mexico, poor internet signal make it hard. Keep knocking out videos WhoTee...i'll catch up when I get home. Been trying to do a couple shorts, but a 2 minute or less vid is taking 5 hours to upload. I think you'd like it up here WhoTee.
30-06 out of a bolt action 1903...dang, that's a loud bang. And my sweetheart Garand. She just gives you little 'love taps' when you take her out on the range. Beautiful.
Another Really fun video with two of my favorite things, WTW and 30/06. Just old fashioned I guess, fell in love with this caliber as a kid, an still ONE of my favorite till today. Good shooting and gods speed to WTW Family and fans 👍🇺🇸
My 03-A3 I got in 1959 shoots 3/4 MOA, cold to hot. It is in the military wood all around the barrel, but is floated back to the receiver ring, 2 pillared, glassbed at the front ledge and the recoil lug too. Bolt lugs hand lapped. With an old Weaver K4 scope. It has not let me down. It can do sparrows at 200 Yds if you are steady. I shoot 150 Gr for deer and 180 gr for Elk.
Well now that was a interesting video and excellent grouping. I really like the 30 ought 6 that caliber has always been part of my dear hunting arsenal. You just cannot go wrong with a 30-06 and that Norma whitetail ammo is some excellent stuff and I am going to have to check out and see how it zeros out for me.
I know this video is old but you say the truth to me anyway. The 30:06 is the best cailder my dad pushed it on me he was a w.w.2 vet . He had a lot of respect for the cailder I've been shooting it since the early 70s great deer cailder here in Oklahoma. Merry Christmas!!
This caliber won 2 world wars.... Not a big hunter, but can't imagine spending money on exotic rounds when a 30.06 gets the job done ! I Do like playing with the speedy .22 cal offerings...ha thanks for the content.... You have a beautiful family brother... You can tell the character of a man by how he treats his kids... God bless you all.... +TD+
Had to go back and watch this one again, just bought two box’s of this for my 06. First time it will have ever shot anything other than the Remington core locks. At 21 bucks a box I had to give it a try. Good shooting and gods speed to the WTW FAMILY AND FANS. 👍🇺🇸
I always used Norma ammunition in my Model 96 Swedish mauser in 6.5x55 it was accurate and performed well. I started reloading later on and was hard pressed to match it's performance. The tab on my Ruger American Predator 6.5 creedmoor broke last year, in the middle of the Pa deer season. The good folks at Ruger customer service in NC overnighted 3 brand new magazines to me, so I only had to use it as a single shot one day!! Ruger is fantastic!!
I’ve checked the bullet seating depth consistency of the Norma Whitetail Ammo and they are very consistent. Great ammo and you can reload the quality Norma Brass with some Barnes Bullets ;)
I just got some of the Norma Whitetail 30-06 my old Remington 700 ADL with iron sights loves it three shot group all touching a penny size group at 30 yards & at 85 yards about a half dollar size group with iron sights! Really like the consistency!
Awesome video, can't wait to get time to take my 243 out. I also really enjoy watching Heavy Metal every morning. He's playing while I'm brewing my coffee 😄
Ammoshoponline usually has lots of Norma ammo. On top of that, they’ve got some of the best prices you’ll find. Ships from East Georgia to Tennessee and Texas (where my dad lives) usually in five to six days from your order. If you’re looking for .308, .223, and 9mm, they’ve been my go to place during the ammo shortage. I’m pretty stocked up on .30-06, so I haven’t gotten any of that from them, but it’s good to know you can get it there.
Some results out of a tikka t3. With “Kissing holes” With Remington cor-lok 150gr. At a lose 2nd. At 1 1/4” groups. At 150 yards, four shot groups. 6 different makes of ammo
Checked out ammo shop online - very pleased they actually had some of that rare (unavailable here!) .380 ACP. Even had Norma quality. Thanks for referencing them.
Sorry I’m so late on this one, great shootin!! 30-06 is an all-American caliber, right there with the ole’ 30-30. I do appreciate the fact that you are good to the budget guns as well. I have had those guns that I was afraid to take in the deer woods, made them kinda useless, then medical bills, they went first. Thank you WTW👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks, love your sighting in videos. It's just hard to beat the 30 06 for hunting. Some great groups, I love the 150gr bullet in a 30 06 for deer hunting.
Love your videos. You are using Bushnell Banner scope and getting 1 inch or less groups which is better than my Swarovskis by about another inch. Very impressive !
Haven't seen any norma whitetail where I'm at. Sure would like to try it out. If it isnt available im going to try the federal terminal ascent. Magazine DAVID you're a good man
Man I have to get me some of that ammo . I have yet to see it here in Ontario but I'm hopeing it shows up at some point. Currently use Hornaday American whitetail which shoots well but would love to give this stuff a go. Thanks brother that was a good one !
Who Tee Who, I like accuracy too. I think you answered my question.... caliber does not matter much and price does not matter match as long as it is the right brand....and reasonably priced ammo coupled with a medium grade scope is a winning combination. Do I have that about right?
Great video, great shooting! Here in Jersey were with in 60 feet of sea level and my son in Arizona is over 5 thousand feet. We both get different velocities with the same ammo and rifle. As I'm a Ruger fanboy, I would've thought that Ruger would've replaced the magazine for free, they have always replaced anything that I've needed except the chronograph I sent into the next county. I would love to see you go up to Montana with the Adventure Cowboy for some big game. God Bless the entire wtw family!
The norma has shot great in every caliber you have shot, great stuff! Now let's see how good the expansion, mushrooming, and penetration is !! Maybe some gel test would be AWESOME!!
I love my Savage Axis 2 in 30-06 it’s my favorite rifle I hunt with. I sold my Remington 700BDL in 30-06 and bought the Savage Axis and built it the way I wanted it. I will buy another Remington 700BDL but in 270 but not a new one with a magazine I want an older used one with the drop plate.
My LR-308 LOVES Norma Whitetail more than any other ammo so far, at least as far as my limited shooting ability has shown. Dont have access to a lead sled, but have shot better with the Norma than the Sierra Match Kings or Juggernauts that are supposed to be kings of the class. We'll see how the new bolty (Browning X Bolt Speed suppressor ready) likes all the ammo varieties I've been collecting.
Hey Adam! Do you have access to an M-1 Garand??? That ammo would be perfect for use in that! Unfortunately mine has already been shipped to Alaska or I'd let you borrow it. Here's an idea for another video if you can get your hands on the rifles: Compare an M-1 Garand to a Springfield M-1A (30-06 vs 308)... do a 100 yard group test with the military iron sights, not scopes. That would be really cool!
30-06 ...... Seems like A very under appreciated caliber for the last couple of decades keep reading that this cartridges and my personal fav 270 win is too boring . Idk I enjoyedthis video quite a bit my self .... good shooting great video ! Thanks a lot !!
@James samman maybe in your area. The shops say .308 has been the best seller this past year. Same 6.5 has been on shelf forever. 7 mag is pretty popular. I guess people in my area are old fashioned, and just stick with the tried and true.

Seriously though, I don't know why people act like you can't hit anything if you don't have a 3k rifle with a 2k scope.
He’s a good guy. I f not for some of the budget guns. I might not a gun. And budget scopes.
A $400 rifle or a $4000 rifle doesn’t matter as long as you can hit what you shoot T.
Take a drink of natty lite every time our boy says “budget”
Ruger american aint no budget rifle, its a smart rifle lol
More 30-06 videos! I wish more people appreciated it, and it's historical relevance, and that it was a more popular, mainstream round still.
I’ve been wanting to see this Norma White Tail in 30-06! Thank you so much! ❤️
Alright! Another test of the world's best rifle caliber!
Roger that 😎👍🏻🇺🇸
Ita America's Cartridge
I must agree. Not only the best but the most versatile also.
Yep. It just is really that good. With the right bullets. All the gun you will ever need if you do your part.👍👍
@@UI_Shaggy05 i get you. Is that what you started hunting with? I started with an old lever action 30-30. It always takes me back to some great memories when i hold one.👌👌👍👍
70 Years ago Norma was a top rated cartridge and you paid for it big time even then.
I'd say your 30.06 likes that Norma!!! Excellent shooting WTW!
Who_Tee_Who every time i see 30-06 makes me wanta watch ! My favorite caliber! Very good shooting Who_Tee Man !
My favorite caliber also.
Would love to see a hunt with that 30-06. That thing groups awesome with that ammo, and it is THE all American Caliber that others are judged by.
If you ever get the chance to get your hands on a vintage Husqvarna rifle, DON'T MISS IT!!! You won't believe the action on it (Swedish Mauser... like glass!). I've seen them range in price, but certainly well worth the money for the quality, made in a time when people actually cared.
Yes, couldnt agree more! VERY NICE well made rifles.
I have picked up quite a bit of that Norma Whitetail in .270, 30.06, and 6.5 creedmoor. Groups well in all my rifles.
How could this video deserve 4 thumbs down? Great video of great groups from a working man's rifle and scope plus in my opinion of what I have seen is the most accurate ammo. Can't wait to see bullet performance on deer
300 win mag snobs.
Just wanted to tell you you’re about the coolest dude I’ve seen on any of these videos thank you so much for sharing with us
Really appreciate you watching!
I second that
The coolest dude for sure 👍
Can we all agree the 30-06 is the best hunting round?
I wouldn't necessarily say the best, but just as good as any other and definitely one of the most versatile calibers there is
My old Remington 700 ADL in 30-06 is my go to!
Best all around north American cartridge
@@jackvliet huh

Best Chanel on TH-cam!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
🙏🙏🙏
You turned me on to norma bullets watching the videos and it does awesome for me
Hard to beat a good 30-06
But I'm more of a 180 grain fan. I find it smacks better with less over penetration for white tail in southern woods.
Slower bullets overpenetrate in meat not faster.Faster bullets expand more.
Any video with a Ruger American is a great video! Norma ammo seems like it groups pretty dang well out of all of your rifles!
This caliber won 2 world wars.... Not a big hunter, but can't imagine spending money on exotic rounds when a 30.06 gets the job done ! It has been some good stuff to me
Call Ruger they will send you a new one, no question asked

Yes, hunt with that thing. Love the 30-06.
The 30-06 ,the all American deer rifle hard to beat been around for a long time and has earned its place for sure
Love your videos! Love to see a comparison between the Ruger American and the Ruger Hawkeye. Thanks
A bug almost crawled right in front of your shot! Nice shooting! I always watching you sight in your rifle and your hundred yard group test!
I’ve checked the bullet seating depth consistency of the Norma Whitetail Ammo and they are very consistent. Great ammo and you can reload the quality Norma Brass with some Barnes Bullets ;)
Hell yeah! I love 30-06
Yep , there it is ! Nice groups ! I have a box in 308 I want to try...
Oooohhh yeah! Some 30-06!
Nice shooting! 30-06 is some fun stuff!
Always great when you find a combo of rifle and rounds that 'like' each other.
I just got some of the Norma Whitetail 30-06 my old Remington 700 ADL with iron sights loves it three shot group all touching a penny size group at 30 yards & at 85 yards about a half dollar size group with iron sights! Really like the consistency!
I always called them working guns ,and Ruger is one of the best affordable, love the old .6 round in 150 grain
Great video! Thanks for taking us to the range with you today!
God bless.
Awesome video, can't wait to get time to take my 243 out. I also really enjoy watching Heavy Metal every morning. He's playing while I'm brewing my coffee 😄
30 cal. adopted in 1906.....30.06 . Great vid and advice , Good Luck to you and yours. Thank You.
Btw, I have also recently purchased the Norma whitetail 150 grain bullets you showed in your video. Can’t wait to try them!!!
Love that ruger brother , most accurate 06 I've seen with factory ammo great video 👍
Perhaps one day you will do 800 to 1000 yds with the 3006 maybe some match ammo..
Thanks for doing a video on Norma's 30.06 ammo! Just bought some today. Looking forward to giving it a shot!
Dang!! Listen to those bullets busting through the woods behind the target. Lol! Great video as always who-tee!
Finally, another really fun video.
Just curious of where you’re finding that Norma ammo seems to put really good groups threw the majority of your rifles
Ammo shop. He showed us a few times. They usually have some ammo for a decent price. Not all jacked up crazy.
Ammoshoponline usually has lots of Norma ammo. On top of that, they’ve got some of the best prices you’ll find. Seen some at sportsmans warehouse
Just ordered 60 rounds of this for trial. Ordered based on your review.
Any way you’d do a review on Norma .300win mag and Norma tactical .308win 150gr 50rd/box?
Some results out of a tikka t3. With “Kissing holes”
With Remington cor-lok 150gr. At a lose 2nd. At 1 1/4” groups.

Checked out ammo shop online - very pleased they actually had some of that rare (unavailable here!) .380 ACP. Even had Norma quality. Thanks for referencing them.
Gotta be one of my fav vids.
Fine display Great presentation.
Excellent shooting.
I think you just got that magic trigger finger. Cuz I’ve never seen WTW shoot a bad group. Love em keep em comin.
😝😝😝
I'd like to see you take the 30-06 hunting
Nice job buddy. Ruger and Savage make some great firearms. I've been fortunate to have owned many of both.
Norma is excellent ammo. Definitely save the brass. Norma brass is one of the best brands of brass you can use for hand loading.
WTW !!! BEAUTIFUL Red Stag ! Loved the family oriented hunt. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS
🙏🙏🙏

Thanks, love your sighting in videos. It's just hard to beat the 30 06 for hunting. Some great groups, I love the 150gr bullet in a 30 06 for deer hunting.
The Norma stuff is everywhere. I have some in 7mm-08. They must have a huge factory to keep this stuff on the market in this climate.
06. Tried, true, proven. Nothing to complain about with the tried and true.
Love your videos. You are using Bushnell Banner scope and getting 1 inch or less groups which is better than my Swarovskis by about another inch. Very impressive !
Love the videos!
My favorite rifle caliber
Haven't seen any norma whitetail where I'm at. Sure would like to try it out. If it isnt available im going to try the federal terminal ascent. Magazine DAVID you're a good man
Check out ammo shop online, they should have it, it's a bit pricy but not too bad, they also have other calibers for a fair price
love that last group!
Man I have to get me some of that ammo . I have yet to see it here in Ontario but I'm hopeing it shows up at some point. Currently use Hornaday American whitetail which shoots well but would love to give this stuff a go. Thanks brother that was a good one !
Norma made Weatherby ammo for years and it’s very accurate and reliable!
Hoot! Great groups! I'ma get a box for the 30-06! Great Video.
Who Tee Who, I like accuracy too. I think you answered my question.... caliber does not matter much and price does not matter match as long as it is the right brand....and reasonably priced ammo coupled with a medium grade scope is a winning combination. Do I have that about right?
Absolutely 😆😆😆.
I just ordered some norma white tail in 6.5 can't wait for it
The norma has shot great in every caliber you have shot, great stuff! Now let's see how good the expansion, mushrooming, and penetration is !! Maybe some gel test would be AWESOME!!
Great idea
3006 is my go to. Best rifle round ever made for all around cartridge..
FYI: Sportsman’s Warehouse, Murphreesboro, TN has Federal .35 Whelen 200 gr. Ammo $48.00 a box, limit 2 pick up only.
Pretty awesome!!!!! Shout out from Asheboro NC
Thanks for watching Tim
One question WHO TEE WHO on the Norma website is the 338 Norma mag the same as lapua mag. GREAT VIDEO
No, not the same
The rifle is 😊 with the Norma .
I just bought a .30-06 Go Wild version. Ordered an Athlon 6-24 scope & some of this Norma ammo, can’t wait to sight it in.
Awesome
And distance is the reason why I love the 06 cartridge
Hey Velcro
My Remington model 700 30-06 loves the 150gr Norma white tail and it’s bad medicine on deer in Florida and Georgia
Great groups. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching Douglas
WHO-TEE-WHO, you are fun to watch
My LR-308 LOVES Norma Whitetail more than any other ammo so far, at least as far as my limited shooting ability has shown. Dont have access to a lead sled, but have shot better with the Norma than the Sierra Match Kings or Juggernauts that are supposed to be kings of the class. We'll see how the new bolty (Browning X Bolt Speed suppressor ready) likes all the ammo varieties I've been collecting.
I never had 30-06. Maybe one day I will.
The actions on the RA’s are pretty damn solid; The barrels on them seem to work equally as well. Hard to beat for the $$$
Awesome stuff! 👌
Nice Groups !
If I recall , didn't you have a 270 Ruger American ? If so , I'll bet the mags are probably interchangeable .
30-06 ...... Seems like A very under appreciated caliber for the last couple of decades keep reading that this cartridges and my personal fav 270 win is too boring . Idk I enjoyedthis video quite a bit my self .... good shooting great video ! Thanks a lot !!
Nobody buys 270 or 3006? Why is every rifle platfrom made offered in both cailbers. Literally the 2 most popular.
Nobody buys 270 or 30.06... ??? Lol they are the two most popular hunting calibers of all time..!!
@James samman maybe in your area. The shops say .308 has been the best seller this past year. Same 6.5 has been on shelf forever. 7 mag is pretty popular. I guess people in my area are old fashioned, and just stick with the tried and true.
Outstanding shot placements. I just baught a mossberg patriot in 30/06 and if i can get groups like this with mine it deffently will be a keeper
