Why are you tearing the dash apart if you don't have to? Open tray, remove 2 screws, pop the 2 tabs on the sides so you can pull bottom of tray out, now you have access to hinge pin, drive pin out with awl, or long skinny phillips screw driver, do everything in reverse and done in 10 minutes at most. your welcome.

Pretty sure you can just remove the two screws in the cup holder and use a butter knife to press the tab down. Should pull right out after that
