      Same. I don't mind a small sleeping area and the building itself is quite nice. Plus that hot spring they offer is something you'd maybe only find in a $300+ a night hotel in the US. And at the bar of one of those hotels you'd spend more than $14 for a couple drinks they give you for free.

      Is it better to book in person or online ?
      How did you get the $14 a night price ?

    Thanks for the video. I stayed there for 5 days and it was a great way to get over the jet lag. I could take a hot bath or steam at any time and the free curry rice in the mornings was tasty. The lockers were secure and the other guys were quiet so I could sleep during the day.

    Even in a group of 3 or 4 you could probably get that many cabins and definitely that many capsules for as much as much or less than one low quality US motel room in my area (which is good for about 2-4 people depending on how comfortable you are with sharing a bed). Plus with all the free stuff you get it's probably a much better experience. Not to mention this place is actually clean and modern while most bad motels look like bedbug infested crack houses.

      it’s definitely a compelling alternative to standard budget lodgings, and yes the fact that it is kept meticulously clean is absolutely critical in my opinion

    The handcraft, the frog ashtray statue, and the yellow umbrellas are Balinese style. Indonesia.

    • @Albietraveling
      @Albietraveling  ปีที่แล้ว

      I see! That would make sense because this hotel company literally has a chain of hotels (apart from this one) that is called "Bali An". Thank you for the insight!

    • @lindrash
      @lindrash ปีที่แล้ว

      The curtains and the cube's doors are probably Bali's handcrafts too. It is an island of my country. I guess the owner of the hotel has a correlation with Bali.

    Someone kindly share this with L.A.'s new mayor, Karen Bass. Build one of these for the homeless. This should be a thing in every town where they exist.

      As someone originally born and raised in LA I have thought about this as well. However, you cant discount the fact that there are virtually zero fentanyl addicts in Japan.

      Unfortunately, the difference in culture would see it destroyed in a week. There is a reason nobody worries about putting locks on the screen door in Japan.

    • @Albietraveling
      @Albietraveling  ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe this is one of the main reasons why these kind of hotels cannot have individual locks. Every capsule hotel will have its own standards of safety but in general Japan takes safety and security very seriously. I do, however, understand the sentiment. It would not be fun to be in this facility if God forbid a fire were to break out.
