The official home of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash and the rest of The World's Greatest Super Heroes!
The grappling hook and the hand to hand combat against 5 guys, reminds of playing Arkham Knight gaming. Great scene 👏
Honest to God with the gadget combos and him jumping across the whole room every 2 seconds this is the closest we've ever seen to the Arkham free flow combat system put to screen
This Batman basically is Arkham Batman.
The choreography here was based on the Arkham series.
Arkham city/origin vibes but the crate definitely knight with the environmental finishers.
@@christopherjohnson5748No it wasn't. It was directly from the comics
This scene often overlooked, but this is special. Batman fight like never before because finally he had a chance to save Martha as an atonement for his sin 'coz he was unable to save his own Martha. Beautifully made!
Nice observation👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
How is this scene overlooked?
@@JediPiIot I assumed that not many viewers think this scene as a redemption/atonement for Batman.
- Stops from killing Superman so that he does not become like his mom's murderer
- Then murders dozens to save someone's mom
Was he redeeming himself or just saving moms? Because doing one he threw away another. Two philosophies mixed up and turned into a mess
At 2:38 when that kick flows perfectly into the knee to the face is one of the best moves I’ve seen in any fight scene ever.
I agree, That was so badass.
One of the best action scenes in movie comics.
Even Kevin conroy said Ben Affleck is the closest to his Batman
This man is a beast 😮
One of the finest hand to hand combat scene in movie
Batfleck coming through the wall makes him legendary! He needs his own movie before he gets old!!!😅😅😅
Give this man a solo Batman! Pure physical brute force!
1 of the best batman fight to date.he look like a beast.
You know, it's because of this fight scene and his depiction of Batman that I believed that Zack Snyder would have been best suited to do Daredevil in the MCU.
Actually prefer this scene bloodless, or toned down blood style the Snyder version paint him a straight killer least this one they were the making of there own undoing
At 1:57 in the Ultimate Edition, blood is left on the wall when the man's head hits it. But not in this version. (Theatrical.) Only realised when I watched both versions.
Best fight scene out of every Batman movie
This scene is so dope and amazing.
2:16 idk why but Batman absolutely FOLDING this guy got me howling💀
Bale's batman - Makes his enemy sore the next day
Pattinson's batman - Makes his enemy wear crutches the next day
Battfleck - Makes his enemy going to ICU the next day
Batfleck CLEARS PatBat
Fun fact: Zack Snyder is the only director who showed a true Batman on screen. That scene where Ben Affleck runs toward a crumbling building while others run away from is more "Batman" than all other Batman movies combined.
This comment, and also I believe that was intentional from ZS, as he showed us the real Batman the beginning (literally hade the same though at the cinema) and then the rest of the movie would be this damaged Batman who gets brought back the end by Superman at the end through his death
Top level stuff
The "Real" batman doesnt kill people
@@jackattackhero5571 that’s what the movie says dummy
@@jackattackhero5571 The "Real" Batman used to have a gun and would hang criminals by the neck on his bat plane, which goes beyond this.
@@jackattackhero5571 ur misunderstanding. it was a rule he set for himself, not a rule of the universe(ex. gravity). it can still be broken. And that's what happened in this movie. he broke the rule probably after robin died. . Now there's no turning back. He just doesn't care about that rule anymore.
This Batman fights like someone who is angry and was trained by Ra's al Ghul.
I can’t believe this is the best Batman we ever got and he didn’t even get any good movies after this role
his Batman was so good to watch
Getting a head punched into the floor made me laugh.
The greatest comic movie fight scene
This is the closet thing to Arkham game Batman that we'll ever see on the big screen
Batfleck should get one movie. I’ve watch this 20,000 times
A batman like this never
The greatest Batman and Alfred of all time.
any alfred is better than andy serkis
More action like this, please!
How do you go from this to
"Hi Diana😃" in 7 years
I wanted to see This Batman
not what you made him in the DCEU
Bring back Ben Affleck
he's in flash and aquaman, but he doesn't want to be full-time batman anymore
@@kenny8712he won’t be in Aquaman 2 anymore. They shot a cameo for him when they decided to bring back Cavill as Superman because for a brief moment the idea was to continue the DCEU with the main Justice League cast returning.
Now his cameo in Aquaman 2 was removed and same with any cameos Cavill had in both Flash and Aquaman 2. Such a shame and a waste of a perfectly cast Batman and Superman.
Let’s hope at some point ego’s are put aside and they understand that this is what DC fans want. Not a half reboot half continuation using the multiverse as an excuse.
Even though the theatrical cut of JL was a COMPLETE disaster.. since the release of ZSJL they could have asked Zack to try to cut either 20-30 minutes out of ZSJL to make it the same length as Avengers: Endgame, do a limited theatrical release (maybe 3 weeks to a month - preferably before The Flash came out so they could also do a marathon of MOS, BVS UE and ZSJL and start production on JL Sequels (shoot them back to back to have it be more cost effective) while also making solo films for some of the main JL characters.
This could have easily had the general audience on track with what IS canon and to basically also let everyone know that the theatrical cut of JL was rushed and admit it was a mistake… but again, ego’s won’t allow them to do that. Crazy.
This was the closest we have come so far to arkham Batman. And it is perfect.
This is now canonically George Clooney now
I vote for a arkham batman movie but with scott adkins as batman. The fight scenes would be insane!
Really wish the story was cohesive, because this scene in a better movie would’ve been crazy
"Batman doesn't kill"
He mostly dosent, just cause he does so here, dosent apply to all his adaptations
I love this scene man!...
Great movie ever
The batman that made me fan of Batman, and haters treated me like a criminal and WB destroyed my excitement for DC movies, thanks you all, highly appreciated
If Michael Keaton can't play old Bruce Wayne in a Batman Beyond movie, if they ever make 1, I'd be cool with Ben Affleck in that role.
The best batman ever❤🖤🔥🔥
May have not been the best Batman acting wise but man this was the closest they ever been to capturing Batman’s action when it came to fighting, my favorite was Christian Bale but they made his fighting style to power ranger like… I didn’t like that whereas this was more Arkham style
Acting wise Ben is the best.
I swear people are tripping. Ben Affleck was the best Batman and wish we would have seen more of his potential. WB screwed him
This scene is the reason why Batffleck should have at least one stand alone movie.
Release the Batffleck movie !
A great fight scene doesn't make a great movie. The writing was horrible, Justice League was worse.
the Batfleck movie would’ve been INSANE
Batman vs deathstroke 😈
Whats the song playing in the background called?
“I won’t kill you, but I will brutalize you to the point where you have to eat food through a straw for the rest of your life” God I love Batman
"So u wont kill, but you're fine with traumatic brain injuries" - Robin (injustice 2)😂😂
Does health insurance in Gotham cover Batman related injuries?
I only have One Rule.......until I finally come to my senses 😈
I like how this was address by Alfred in one comic issue, "more like breaking their banks and bones"
@Quinntus79 As a reader of the comics YES Bruce wayne funded to make the Bat wing in the Gotham Hospital to where any Injuries that included Batman where covered by none other than the Man himself
I love the realism in the Nolan batman movies, it showed exactly how a man wearing a cape would move and fight. But this right here ladies and gentlemen, is straight out of the comics, this is exactly what batman is and why criminals should runaway from him, he doesn't care if he is fighting more than 10 men and he doesn't pull his punches, it always ends up with him standing with unconscious bad guys on floor with bloody faces, broken bones and missing teeth. Snyder did an amazing job bringing batman to life in this movie and yes ben affleck deserves a stand alone batman movie.
Affleck look so much more like Batman than Bale did
@@BMoneyYTB no hate to Christian Bale, but he was not comic book accurate at all. That was kind of the whole point, Nolan wasn’t going for comic-accuracy, he wanted something more real-world because at that point in time comic book movies weren’t very well-received with the exception of Spider-Man.
@@hgtokc Even a 7 years of ninja trained man will not be so puny as Nolan showed in the movie. It was pre-planned to show Batman downgrade in the name of realism so they can show Joker is great. Nolan tried this same thing in the 3rd part for the lust of Oscar but he failed. And there is Snyder who did justice with Batman's character.
I don't know
Bales Batman always looked stiff to me
Whereas, Afflecks Batman is smooth
And more fluid
@@alapanchakraborty4367 you do realize that a ninja is meant to be silent. they are not supposed to be beefy guys they're meant to be assasins. lightweight, quiet difficult to hear.
Years later and this scene is still talked about. That’s so crazy
Almost 10 years… in 2026, and still.
It's the best part of the movie lol
Because it’s the only good thing about the movie
@@kolbytriplett4644 everything about this movie was good.
The greatest fight scene in all of Batman's cinematic history.
nah💀
@@constipatedturtle6746Yah 😇
@@constipatedturtle6746Name a better fight then 💀
Correction, the greatest fight scene in the history of all comic book movies
It was better when we saw it the first time with bale and he used bat 🦇 goggles to free the hostages from the joker
Ppl in the future will not understand that when we first saw this it blew our minds. Seeing Batman actually brawl and take mfs out like the arkham games was the best thing to ever come from this movie.
Out of all the recent Batmans, pretty sure Batfleck is the closest to comic batman's style of fighting. Bale's looks like a regular martial arts, Pattinson is like the Arkham Origins Batman, still new to the game, rash but brutal. Batfleck really gives on the "Batman doesn't kill but he gives brain traumas to his enemies" vibe,a full fledged, battle hardened Batman like the one from Arkham trilogy. Very brutal yet methodical in his own way
Well, yes to almost all of that, except he literally killed a guy in this scene
@@hgtokc nah the guy killed himself by jumping over the grenade. It's like what Bale's Batman said to Raz'al Gul: "I won't kill you, but I don't have to save you" lol
@@voodoogames9148 He shot the guys flame thrower and caused him to be engulfed in flames.
He also shot at others with a goon’s gun and then stabbed that second to last guy in the heart 🤷♂️
This isn’t accurate at all. He killed and brain damaged so many people in 3 mins
I always liked how all the henchmen are aiming at the door, as if they expect Batman to walk into the room like a normal person. 😂
They're trained soldiers, but it's working against them. They didn't expect vertical mouseholing - they probably thought Batman would throw a flashbang or smoke grenade through the door, then bust through.
They're trained soldiers, but it's working against them. They didn't expect vertical mouseholing - they probably thought Batman would throw a flashbang or smoke grenade through the door, then bust through.
Actually, they shouldn’t have expected Batman, they should have expected Superman seeing who their hostage was. He doesn’t exactly come in through doors either and their gear was not ready for that fight. I think it would have been a slightly more realistic defense if they had booby traps made for Supes that Batman had to overcome.
they thought it was Pattinson
You're totally right
The director's cut version of this fight is much cooler
I agree
I guess the Theatrical cut is canon then, The theatrical didn’t have the steppenwolf scene, and his design is different from the one from 2017.
@@WunderboyStudios Justice League 2017 is a rip-off of what we could have had at that time
Ben ain't everybody's favorite Batman but this scene holds so much weight it just can't be touched. This Batman is prob the most dangerous of them all. Video game like
Would love for Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill to continue in some capacity! Need more of THIS
The cenematography in this movie was top notch , like the fight in the rain, batman almost becomes unstoppable death of Superman and then the different versions we see batman different costumes, top notch
Pattinson has proved himself, Bale was solid, the JL series movies have their obvious flaws but THIS....this will always be one of any live action Batmans best fight scenes of all time.
That parkour vault over the crate while face planting the thug in front of it is peak Batman moves.
🔥🤌
There are 3 exceptional scenes in super hero movies; Flash back in time to save Justice League, Superman first flight and this.
Agreed!!!!
DCEU Batman *(Batfleck)* is basically the closest thing to a live-action version of Arkham Batman. The wearhouse scene in BvS convinced me otherwise
I Love DC Extended Universe,I started to become a DC fan when watching "Man of Steel (2013)" in theaters
Ugh I love it! We need more like this
Man of still was my first dc movie I watched on cinema!! This is wonderful
Ben Affleck’s Batman was the most comic accurate. The way he moves and fights by not only being a step quicker than you, but also using shear brute force. He had the size and build down perfectly. People should blame the bad writing and story lines if they have an issue with these movies. His performance was spot on as much as the writing allowed it to be.
Most comic accurate to All Star Batman

Story was killing gold ❤. What made him to kill?? Why so hate???
Answer: being powerless to save humanity from Superman's destruction , being powerless to save his own step son, being broken down against criminals.
Objectively he is not because of the writing though
Yea the ultimate cut version of this scene is better. Anyone that hasn’t seen that full movie is missing out
The Best Live-Action Batman! Let’s go!
No😂
Yes. Batfleck 4ever
Nope.
The extended version was better in my opinion made the fight feel more brutal god I love it
1:58 bloodless?
Yeah this is the non ultimate edition version
Best batman ever better than bale and Pattinson
The best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be... Batfleck...
IMO, I compare this scene to Spider-Man's train fight scene with Dr. Otto Octavius. Pure badassery.
You can see clearly batman doesn't fight for save a hostage....for him it's a redemption for his mother ..that's why you can see anger also the extended version more clearly
Fr
How could Batman work in real life? This. This is how.
That’s what I liked about Ben Affleck’s version. He’s exactly how I would picture Batman would be if he existed in the real world
Bittersweet memories 💔
Pattinson Batmobile, Affleck fighting scenes, Keaton tone and Nolan plotline. This would be the perfect Batman movie.
Pattinson's skillset is dope though. I would love to see him combine the technicality with brawling like Affleck and turn into a proper fighter later
@@_sayandas What skillset? Robocop fights better than him
1:08 is this a reference to the picture hanging in Lex Luther's study?? "The devil will come from the above, not from the below" that Lex Luther told to the senator. The Batman was attacking the thugs from the above and the thugs are firing at the hole in the floor thinking he is below them.
could be but he was mainly forshadowing sttepenwolf and his parademons in the next part (because they showed that painting again after the death of superman in that movie)
Ben is the goat
Such a great scene and great film … get the Ultimate Edition !!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 loved it in theaters too
Batfleck merecía su película individual.
This Batman would beat the breaks off of Christian’s Bane
This just reminds me of Batman Arkham Knight but IRL
Don't care if you hated the movie. You can't say this scene was not epic.
Gosh I miss the 2016 superhero movie hype
Batfleck is the best batman ! He deserve his standalone movie! Make it happen wb!
The blood splatter on the wall after the guy is whacked with the shipping crate is gone. They edited batmans ruthlessness lol
Batman doesn't kill, he just leaves you on the ground with an open fracture and several internal hemorrhages.
This is a sad reminder of what might have been.
One of the best fighting scenes I have ever seen. Said it before and saying it again: without Snyder DC has no future in cinema. The man was the one.
Get over it
@@person-vi6dm I'll get over your mom🍌
@@person-vi6dm never
Snyder was good but u overreacting😂
@Yo na, the guy is correct, they decided to replace Snyder with a guy (gunn) whose style doesn't fit DC. Warner Bros obviously isn't going to hire anyone who can replace Snyder effectively. So it has no future, quality future.
Straight out of the comics! His speed is amazing! Makes sense though his suit is skin tight, the flexibility allows us to see the speed we’ve only seen in the animated series and comics! I love it
El lince Cubano?
When I saw that dude blow up from his own grenade in theaters. I was straight up shocked at the brutality. Instantly knew there was gonna be controversy about this version of Batman. I loved it! This shows Batman’s true progression in his older age and basically going against his morals and what he stands for… i believe we would have seen character development in his character and going back to his no killing philosophy had he had a stand-alone trilogy
My headcannon is that the guy with the flamethrower is Firefly and the explosion is a perfect reason why he has burns all over his body
he's KGbeast in that movie, basically a DC evil version of Captain america's Marvel
@@johnmark8720 huh. Didn't know he was KG Beast...
The best superhero fight scene in the history of cinema doesn't exis-
The best alfred doesn't exist-
Man i love irons he calls bruce master wayne literally everywhere
I would definitely sacrificed all of James Gunn's DCU plans and Matt Reeve's Batman sequel for a Ben Affleck's Batman movie.
Same. He’s my favorite Batman
Same.
1:58 there was blood shed on wall when his head smacked there..why edit it out
They used this clip from the Theatrical Cut instead of the Ultimate Edition. WB told Snyder the blood needed to be cut out of the theatrical because “kids shouldn’t see that”. He revealed that on a podcast with the Russo Brothers called Pizza Film School (it’s in Part 2 of their conversation).
In the Ultimate Edition he also walks up to the guy he sticks a knife in after throwing the other guy into the wall and gut punches him, etc.
@@JJensen9
Thanks for explaining ☺️
I love how Batman gave KGBeast a choice by shooting the gas tank. Had KGBeast not pulled his trigger he would have not burned to a crisp.
I love the idea that Batman is a force of nature. It’s not a matter of IF he’ll stop you, but WHEN he’ll stop you.
Ben Afflecks batman was the strongest batman.
Robert Pattinsons batman was the fastest batman
Christian bales batman was the smartest batman
The series of punches starting at 2:12 are so brutal and so satisfying
This Batman is actually horrifying
Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how Diane Lane makes this scene go from good to great? Her expression slowly transforming from fear to hope was EXPERTLY acted.
This is how batman fights in the Comics.
Not my favorite batman but absolutely the best live action batman fight scene... a batman who isn't afraid to kill is just terrifying.
It’s just a bad Batman if he isn’t afraid to kill
@@faranbutt so every batman but George Clooney was a bad batman huh? Lol you're in the minority there.

ill give these guys credit cuz im sure batman has some type of tactical metal in his gloves to really ensure these guys get knocked out in one punch like the guys eating it at 2:14 but some of them just get right back up to fight like bruh stay down 😂
