We set out to see Machu Picchu, the famed Wonder of the World. Crossing mountain passes and descending into valleys, we discovered that the real Wonder was the land, the culture, the people. From the parades of Cusco to the rigorous trails of the Inca, the journey to Machu Picchu captivated us in ways we could never have imagined.
