Nobody in the comments gets what happened here. You can still hear Chino playing the part before he throws the guitar out, but it’s real quiet. When he throws it out, it hitting the ground causes it to go out of tune. Sound guy just fixes the volume issue, not the tuning. The tech is just trying to figure out how to tune it back but Chino keeps playing. I’d say it’s a ballsy performance if anything

Chino should have said fuck the guitar after it first started to fuck up and just keep singing. But good to see the hole band kept it going and none the less it's still a good performance. This is by far one of the best song I have ever listened to. I fucking love the deftones!!!!!

Nah... bro he fucked it up on purpose. You can clearly see that his first guitar fucked up, and he was pissed and tossed it. The second guitar they gave him was out of tune, and he was so pissed off (clearly) that he gave up on singing the song and just shredded the strings by playing all jacked up. He should have at least finished singing the song for the fans cuz it is one of their best tunes.
