It's going to be interesting. I have really committed to the Northwest and Boston has tons of troops. I'd love to take them in a giant field battle. We shall see how the cookie crumbles.
Much much improvment from the last episode to this, I enjoyed it a lot. My advise this time from what I've seen: 1- use the supply map to make a good strategy on the order to capture cities or forts. I don't think this is really needed, but a connected one seems better to a disconnected and that make sense to me. 2- Big armies need a lot of micromanagement in battles, you can join squads to have instead of 3 depleted units just 1 sharing ammo and such, maybe this helps to move and use the units more efficient. I don't think that this changes the units in the strategic map so you can still reinforce to 100% later. 3-You can exploit the AI and bait units out of forts and settelments and then crush them with a bigger force. Forts have a loot of bonuses for protection maybe cities do as well, so forcing AI units out and then attacking them on open field seems pretty logic. 4-You say that you don't like to pause, but I think this is a mistake. Enter the battle, pause it, give each unit an order and plan your moves with time. Get everything in order, and then unpause the battle. Probably you plans will change once you engage the enemy, but I think you'll do much much better. 5-Arty is king in this game so far, I will try to use it more close to enemy formations especialy when they are clumped up. Try to not fire at the back of your own soldiers, if you are planning to charge an enemy unit, check that no arty is targeting that. You got 3 units of your own routing in the fort battle when they recived a rear hit from their own arty. It looks like that friendly fire drops the morale bit time. Great episode, looking forward to the next one. =)
Thanks for all the advice. Some good stuff in there. I definitely need to think about number 1 more. My campaign might be in a tough spot because of it. I think you will be happy with 2 and 3 in episode 7. Number 4 I am working on, I just personally don't like to pause in the middle of a battle, but I think I do pause at the start of the battle in episode 7. Number 5 will be a hard one for me to break. I think I have been ruined by UG:CW where arty didn't really cause friendly fire. I am also scared of putting my arty far forward, but I really shouldn't be. I have definitely killed too many men with friendly fire. This will probably be the hardest point for me to get better at, but I will definitely try to get better at it. Have to break the habit. Glad you enjoyed it and I really appreciate the constructive criticism.
Arty seems even more important in this game than UG Civil War honestly. Arty's usefulness is def higher here in this game and isn't really in abundance or easily replaceable either. In your first fight it seems like your arty was focused on their center and really helped to break them early.
Yeah, I've found the battles to be easier now that I have an abundance of artillery. I could move them further forward so they fire grapeshot, but I'm afraid of the Brits charging the battery.
I am pretty sure. There are a lot of southern colonies in the colony management tab and the maps I have seen basically show the entire eastern seaboard from Canada to Florida. It might be a while though, this game is definitely in very very early access. I would really call this an open beta.

excellant playthrough
Does anyone know are they intended to Savhanna and Yorktown?

Dont delete regiments, you don't get much back especially officers
Does loyalty affect how much income you get?
Probably. I'm still.unsure how all of the economy works in game.
your cannons are depleting your men with friendly fire, maybe stop firing prior to charging
Lol yeah... I'm really bad about that.
easier to be a side line coach than playing for sure. Love the content and learning from you@@Quickslvr_Gaming
