It’s amazing that mom was so trusting of the other orang!! Especially with such a young baby. They are so intelligent it absolutely amazes me! When you look at their face you can see the heels turning!!

At 6 minutes into the video it looks like Emma has a cigarette in her mouth while she is carrying her newborn baby lol 🤣
Orangutans are not the wild, savage, beasts that this dude is portraying them to be. They get into things causing havoc but the worst thing they will usually do to a person is grab their arm or leg and not let go.

They have several videos of the orange and their lives in the enclosure but they're not consistent them leaving big gaps so that they're not in chronological order either. I wish that they would just sort out their videos and put them one after the next in chronological order. I'm tired of jumping around on this site trying to find the next thing about the orangutans.

Primates typically have great Maternal instincts (even the Males in some cases) I've heard of them Nursing baby Big Cats, and even a Gorilla Nursing a Human Boy.
Why does every adult orangutan get a mullet?
Why does the daughter's name keep changing?Tootie,Suzi,Siska?
She has 3 babies.
Its 3 of them . I think the oldest is Tootie.
Sisker and tripper
Tripper is the small male who has the thyroid problem which can lead to heart defects. He is on medication. Siska is the oldest child and then Tutu. Tripper is Emma's I think.
Trippa is a four-year-old boy. Siska is a two-year-old girl. Tuti is a five-year-old girl.
Nature Bites, please do better and put the videos of orangutans in chronological order, one right after the next, so that people like me can watch them and actually know what's going on, instead of constantly trying to find the next video on the orangutans and trying to fill in the gaps myself.

I want re o go to Chester zoo and Kyoto in Tokyo t[ see the monomano gorillas family. I think genki mother maybe is pregnant I pray for the mother and a healthy full term pregnancy but as well a Lil girl. Would just be so perfect. Maybe this next year maybe tootie will be ready for motherhood .emmas been so good help ING tootie and giving her confidence that a young adolescent need. I mean you loom how Chester zoo keepers are with @ocl[se with all thier animals . they deserve recognition. And suibus is a handful and diabolical lol I just live you guy$
W😳W...I am absolutely gobsmacked at the level of and consistency of the numerous failures within the Orangutan Caretakers Team at Chester. I do not understand how some of this was ever even able to have had the opportunity to have taken place!

If orangutans are so smart, they must be held accountable and punished for wasting the staffs time and effort. They should separate the the babies from the mother in very small cages just far enough where the can’t touch them., then only feed them once a week and leave them in direct sunlight with no food or water
