OMG, this deck is stunning! I can't imagine what parts weren't deemed as "up to snuff." I hope you're able to show a comparison when the final deck is reviewed
This is just another amazing deck. His printing execution is just crazy. They definitely will break the bank, but you do get an amazing deck. I was floored by the embossing on the tuck. Lotrek does print some of the most impressive decks and this Test Royal Silk is no exception.
"The Royal Silk Test Print was created as an early version of the deck that was not yet ready for production. It was made available to collectors as a limited edition of only 555 decks. As for the differences between the Royal Silk Test Print and the final version, I couldn’t find any information on that. However, it’s possible that there were some minor changes made to the design or materials used in the final version." However, one thing is different: the tuck box on the final version has a much deeper embossing.
The Card Guy. "The TEST print presents some imperfections: "There are some imperfections that I guess only a few will notice (if they ever will) that at least to my eyes - are just holding that deck from being the marvel I had envisioned... For these imperfections (most of them technical stuff difficult to explain, boring to read and one of them purely a matter of artwork)" - Lotrek."
Great review, but I don’t know if this is only a Patreon deck. I’m not in his Patreon, but I ordered the original deck and received this one. Do you know if I will get the original deck too? Or just the test print.
Oh yeah didn’t mean to suggest it was ONLY Patreon - just that he made it available to Patrons as a benefit! I do believe the remainder were made available to everyone.
Anyone else get one of these without ordering one and paying for one? I have a suspicion they might have been gifted from my Canadian Card Curator but have not confirmed this yet... Also, thanks for the video so I can see them without having to open mine!

I definitely could not figure out what was off! They look perfect to me…

Wait til the final version goes out, I think there’s supposed to be deep embossing on the gold foiling on the tuck!
Absolutely stunning
Hey Tim Do you know it the final version has been released yet??
It's started shipping I believe only in Europe so far.

As you have a great attention to detail, I was hoping you will point out the foil error on Jack of hearts. Let me know if you find it 😃
