Came back to OSRS a few days ago after a year off. Not knowing DMM was peaking atm I decided I need to finish 92-99 prayer so I grinded to 96 and only got PK’d once. Thought I was either an escape god or PKing had died entirely in the year I was gone…

I dont think people wait till slayer to do KBD due too the extra DPS, i think its just a way to gain a little more exp and not go mental grinding out the pet so using the tasks to space out the mind numbing nature of the boss as its drop tables not the most existing 🤣

When i first got into osrs i didn’t truly understand how wildy risk worked… I went KBD pet hunting, with absolute bank. absolute bank. full arma, fury, dhcb, pegasians. i hit pet at 141 never getting pk’d… 7 years have passed since, i played the entire time. If you think i don’t put my head in my hands everytime i think about it…. how long would it have taken me to learn my lesson 😂😩

I know that from your perspective it seems as though most of the people who are pking pvmers/clue scrollers are just shitty pkers who run from actual fights but the reality is that pvmers get targetted by pkers who are just waiting to find actual fights. There are hot spots and the main spots usually have pvmers and pkers that come and go. There's no reason to not attack someone if they are the only person in the area at that time. I know that i definitely am going to attack anyone I see immediately. If a pker happens to show up after I have already started killing a pvmer then I usually hop off the pvmer and start attacking the pker if the pvmer hasnt fought back and the pj timer allows me to. Its just the way it is.
@93rwolf I mean I get it. PvP in this game is on it's last leg. Does get annoying though when you're out there and get pked trying to farm bosses or save some money on prayer but I get it's part of the game. I've never failed to kill someone bullying skillers when returning to the wilderness geared to pk lol idk man there's some NOOBS out there just trying to hit a lick on unexpected pvmers/skillers, and they most often don't risk because you know their intentions. One time I had a dude rush me at kbd in max gear, I had 50m risk, and he dealt 1100 damage to me and I broke his ankles at rev caves. Idk man people aren't that great most of the time and should just leave the wilderness alone. 😂
@@Purge5165 Do you pk often? Because I have been pking since 2005 and I'm not sure what people are talking about when they say that PvP is dying or dead. I can find NH fights immediately in deep wilderness on world 303 at rev caves and chaos altar. BH is full of all the 1v1 edge style pking and the PvP worlds also have tons of people ready to fight as soon as you step into the zone. I basically live in rev caves and play mostly on my 126 main or my 109 med level but sometimes I also pk on my 77 1 def pure. Every time I look for a fight I find one. Clearly PvP isn't dying because if it was I wouldn't be able to find any fights and PvMers wouldn't constantly complain about being attacked by PKers. PvP is definitely not the same as it was in the past, but it's far from dead and there are plenty of noobs out there that other noobs can fight so that they can practice and get better. The only complaints I have in regards to the current state of PvP is that its spread too thin. There are too many worlds so that makes wilderness content feel "empty". A good solution to reviving the wilderness would be to remove all PvP worlds, change Bounty Hunter's location to edgeville wilderness, and remove some of the hundreds of worlds that aren't even close to being halfway full. The wilderness would definitely feel a lot different if Jagex actually did something like this.

About the lvl 100s going for kbd, i used to do that when i started bossing, was really fun to get some kcs, it's a nooby thing to do, but it is all about the fun, am i right?
