my guess for part 3 is somehow, Ellie and Abby have a common goal, i have no clue what it would be, but whatever it is, they’re forced to work together. at the end of it Ellie is with Dina and JJ, but now also takes care of Lev, as Abby would’ve sacrificed herself to reach said goal. That seems like a good end to Abby’s character arc, giving her life for something truly good. also you play the majority of the game as Ellie. say like 90%. Playing as Ellie is just more enjoyable than playing as Abby i think.
If there is a part 3 imagine if someone asks who Ellie is and she responds with Ellie and then they ask for a last name and she says miller that would kill me
It was a heartbreaking thing to watch from an outside perspective, but there's more to it. In the end, Joel did love her like his daughter-that's why he did everything he did. He even stated in his last conversation with her that if he had the opportunity to go back and do it all over again, he wouldn't change a thing. He understood why she felt the way she did and was willing to accept it so long as he knew she was safe and it would ultimately make her happy. Many of the things he did were flawed. He acted selfishly. He accepted the consequences. Ellie's action were not unwarranted, as much as it hurt to watch. It's still a shame things played out the way they did.

What an unfogettable journey again, what a master piece, finished yesterday, and this was as epic as the first one was. Omfg what a journey, had cry a lot for Joel's death, and Abby is a so well writting character that is hurts a lot to see Ellie fight her, but so much that it hurts, that I was begging Ellie to stop. All the turning points were put so well on the script, it has so much meaning everything Abby and Ellie did to the last momento. With 2 turning points so fucking significant towards the end, that it was a perfect ending just like the first one.
This may be the most controversial game in the history of gaming, but tbh in my heart I can’t hate this game because this franchise has been part of my life since the release of the first one, yes it upset me but I didn’t really lash out more like I cried since this story really , emotionally broke us but tbh I enjoyed the game and I’m thankful we got a sequel , many may disagree or be disappointed with it , but I’m not. If I had a chance to play this series again I would do it all over again.
I cried so much, when I saw Joel and Ellie were hugging after her killing this man in the first part. Joel would do the same thing if he would know, that Ellie killed so many people in the second part, if he was alive. He wouldn’t judge her for that. He would just hug her. It brings so much pain, that nobody is here to support Ellie after all of this crap she’s been through. All, what she needed after saving Abby, was a hug. God, I miss Joel so much..
I remember watching my brother play the first game when I was a young kid. He would play it on the ps3. It terrified me, sure, but I found it fascinating. This game changed my life. Fast forward a couple years, we learn about this game in school. It was THAT good that we learned about it in school. The teacher said "Now, this game is a little more mature and many of you may not know this game, but we're gonna learn about the music-" and I interrupted him saying "Oh my god it's The Last Of Us". I finally decided to start playing it again after that and wow. It showed humanity and what would happen in a apocalypse and was far better than any zombie/apocalypse show or movie I had ever seen. The acting, script, characters and story is one of the best things I've ever seen. This game quite literally changed my life. I think the endings of both games are perfect but god damn the ending of tlou2 was SO good. It shows that revenge isn't the answer and that she came this far out of revenge and then realized that's not what Joel would've wanted. Anyone who thinks tlou2 is bad because they killed off Joel has proved naughty dog right. Because they will never be able to forgive Abby, just like Ellie never will be able to. PS: I also love how this game emphasized on consequences in the apocalypse. If you kill someone, there's consequences. They portray that beautifully in this game.

You did a excellent job on this video, the editing was superb. I just wish the game gave me as much closure as this video did. Ellie and Joel will always have a special place in my heart. I'm not gonna bash the 2nd game anymore but all I wanted was a continuation of their story and I think that's what confuses me. And the fact that Ellie ended up alone....idk
i read somewhere that ellie wasn't wearing dina's bracelet when she left to go after abby again, but when she went back to the farm, she was wearing it again. people theorize that she gave it back to dina when she left, (maybe half expecting to die) and then dina gave it back to her when she came back. she only went to the barn to get one final moment of closure. people also believe in this because she wasn't surprised when the house was completely emptied except for her art room. i personally loved the game and i really enjoyed the story even though it broke my heart, i understood the meaning behind it. and with an open ending, you can really believe in anything that you want. i hope this gives you some closure.

When Ellie returns to her old house, she does not have any weapons on her backpack, her fingers are completely healed, and most importantly she is wearing Dina's bracelet, where in the previous cutscenes and when she left the house Dina was wearing it ( and it couldn't be seen in Ellie's backpack) this, along with the letter from Mario that says Ellie JJ and Dina have a safe place in Jackson, and also the fact that she does not act surprised when she enters the house, leaves me to believe that Ellie and Dina are living happily in Jackson, and that the boxes and guitar left in the house are Ellie's momento's of Joel, and in leaving them behind, she finally is ready to try to start forgiving, not just Abby but Joel and herself aswell. The end is hopeful
This is such an amazing video. Joel story arc breaks my heart, because yeah, it was horrible. But all the things he has done in the past, to survive and for Ellie- they would come after him sooner or later. And they did.
What a roller coaster ride for sure! 😭 I really hope that Ellie finds her happiness again with Dina that’s all I want now. The game was a master piece for me. This is my own opinion if people didn’t like it that’s understandable I respect that decision too. Good job on this video you have made me feel all the emotions I felt after finishing the game 👏🏼😭😭

I remember watching my brother play the first game when I was a young kid. He would play it on the ps3. It terrified me, sure, but I found it fascinating. This game changed my life. Fast forward a couple years, we learn about this game in school. It was THAT good that we learned about it in school. The teacher said "Now, this game is a little more mature and many of you may not know this game, but we're gonna learn about the music-" and I interrupted him saying "Oh my god it's The Last Of Us". I finally decided to start playing it again after that and wow. It showed humanity and what would happen in a apocalypse and was far better than any zombie/apocalypse show or movie I had ever seen. The acting, script, characters and story is one of the best things I've ever seen. This game quite literally changed my life. I think the endings of both games are perfect but god damn the ending of tlou2 was SO good. It shows that revenge isn't the answer and that she came this far out of revenge and then realized that's not what Joel would've wanted. Anyone who thinks tlou2 is bad because they killed off Joel has proved naughty dog right. Because they will never be able to forgive Abby, just like Ellie never will be able to. PS: I also love how this game emphasized on consequences in the apocalypse. If you kill someone, there's consequences. They portray that beautifully in this game.
Ellie is probably for me the most emotional character in video game actually

You did a excellent job on this video, the editing was superb. I just wish the game gave me as much closure as this video did. Ellie and Joel will always have a special place in my heart. I'm not gonna bash the 2nd game anymore but all I wanted was a continuation of their story and I think that's what confuses me. And the fact that Ellie ended up alone....idk
As much as I love part 2, it's not the story I initially wanted, and it's definitely upsetting
i read somewhere that ellie wasn't wearing dina's bracelet when she left to go after abby again, but when she went back to the farm, she was wearing it again. people theorize that she gave it back to dina when she left, (maybe half expecting to die) and then dina gave it back to her when she came back. she only went to the barn to get one final moment of closure. people also believe in this because she wasn't surprised when the house was completely emptied except for her art room. i personally loved the game and i really enjoyed the story even though it broke my heart, i understood the meaning behind it. and with an open ending, you can really believe in anything that you want. i hope this gives you some closure.

boo yeah I read those theories too and I hope that really is the case. I know she’s a video game character but she almost feels so real lol, I just want her to be happy. But I guess even having the slightest confirmation that her and Dina still ended up together gives me some closure. Thanks

When Ellie returns to her old house, she does not have any weapons on her backpack, her fingers are completely healed, and most importantly she is wearing Dina's bracelet, where in the previous cutscenes and when she left the house Dina was wearing it ( and it couldn't be seen in Ellie's backpack) this, along with the letter from Mario that says Ellie JJ and Dina have a safe place in Jackson, and also the fact that she does not act surprised when she enters the house, leaves me to believe that Ellie and Dina are living happily in Jackson, and that the boxes and guitar left in the house are Ellie's momento's of Joel, and in leaving them behind, she finally is ready to try to start forgiving, not just Abby but Joel and herself aswell. The end is hopeful
Her fingers healed when she came back from the rattlers if you look on a map you’ll see how far she travelled to get abby

This is such an amazing video. Joel story arc breaks my heart, because yeah, it was horrible. But all the things he has done in the past, to survive and for Ellie- they would come after him sooner or later. And they did.
