It’s because it got a flat 20% buff, and (IDK if it was intended but) it also has the 17% crit buff that all sidearms got.

buffed it because its a special weapon that you need to earn ammo for now its completely fine considering how broken other special weapons are and auto broken rifles are currently doing.

For those wondering: The reason why it is doing so much more damage is because it got a flat 20% buff and it also got the 17% sidearm precision buff.
Sidearms only got a 14% buff Whitch is actually 2% nerf since checkmate health values are 15 to 16% higher

I think certain members of bungie use certain weapons, there was a few times throughout d2 where something was buffed or nerfed for literally no reason. Bit rude but at this point bungie is the enemy of the game itself.

This kind of stuff is one reason to why i did quit playing Destiny in general permanently over 3 months ago at this point. Bungie keeps making broken or OP stuff constantly or just buff something that doesn't need a buff. Result is just like on this video straight up broken or insanely OP which force you to switch off of your favorite stuff. And instead you either switch to same thing your opponent is using or you get stomped or you just quit and than from bungo it takes months to nerf it.
Hey wallah! Fun fact. Mechaneers Trick Sleeves on hunter and kinetic surge allow you to two tap to the head for a single kill with forerunner. Hope this info helps.

@@LeftyPantaridis I know it's not, but a guy can dream. I at least hope they revert the changes to 140s that cause them to be insanely unforgiving in the current sandbox. It feels super bad to even use a 140 when I could just be using a 450 auto or a high impact pulse instead.

Broken build rn for anyone with aim:
Disruption break bow + forerunner = .7ttk at close or long range ( including bow draw time ) not l including the draw time it’s a .2ttk
The only bow with Disruption Break is a lightweight that does 116 crit, so that only works vs someone with 0 to 1 resilience (ie nobody). Doesn’t seem too broken to me.
@@sarnia7559 all you have to do is break there shield with the bow , after that you can 1 tap with 120s eg sturm, deadman’s, prophet, forerunner , any precision based special , I believe 140s such as thorn still work but untested after patch but you get my point
Disruption break + a headshot by any strong ish weapon will kill anyone and in a primary only meta it is mad strong

@@Aolumi True, but if they’re undamaged then you need two bow shots just to break their shield, which balances it. Still very good in a team shooting environment though.

I’m happy that’s it’s back for second as one of my all time favorite exotics but they’re gonna “fix” it by nerfing its ammo economy and damage into the ground.
To be fair it is oversubscribed special ammo considering all other specials apparently have enough for 2 kills. 2 kills is 3 bullets and this gets 8 for whatever reason. They may lower the damage to require 3 headshots if usage becomes higher tho.
@@boneidle8420 It’s probably guaranteed to go back to 3 headshots. Now whatever they do with the ammo nerf I hope it isn’t to the point where it’s not worth using the gun, but knowing bungo i’m not holding my breath.

Fun tip - for some reason in the start of trials matches you could pair special sidearms (Forerunner, Indebted Kindness, Buried Bloodline) and any type of special GL. Popped OFF with Forerunner + Explosive Personality this past weekend 😊

They buffed it because its essentially a primary but doesnt get ammo every round now. Trace rifles need a similar treatment.

Is it just me or is Wallah's radar looking more clear? Did they add in another setting for that along with controller dead zone adjusters? It's very noticeable.
There's a radar opacity setting now in the game. He made a video about it 2 days ago.
Go to game play setting and search Radar Opacity it will be at minimum, you need to boost it to half way or more to taste . Good luck Guardian.
